  1. lol u tool...i still reckon u'll struggle to get it all done in the one day. cams in, cam gears in, harmonic balancer on, timing belt on, then gotta set the timing, plenum on, manifold on, turbo on. big list isnt it andy
  2. have i started a craze?
  3. engine bay or the engine covers? and is the purple a plain purple, or is it Lilac Pearl, caus thats what my engine bay is. and my engine covers are Ford Blueprint Blue, acompanied with polished bits everywhere

  5. Ok ill post a proper response about my experiences. In my old R33, it had turbo back exhaust, 10psi, Power FC, FMIC (191rwkw), rock hard tein susp, 5 puck brass button clutch, 255 wide K104 tyres, revs at 4200, drop clutch (foot flat all the way) & wheel spin half way through 1st, ran 13.5 @ 106 with 1.8 60’ (with granny shifted 3rd) As adrian said, it's car dependant, so practice makes perfect.
  6. stock bottom ends can handle 650hp, but then thats gearbox breaking power too
  7. sorta sounds like the turbo is running out of puff
  8. Well lets say we are talking about the perfect launch at the drag strip and the car being a RWD car
  9. poor andy copped one on his yesterday
  10. you? lol...i'd be expressing my unhappyness with his poor organising skills, and that he owe's you one
  11. The bolts on the diff side are fine, so they dont need to be changed to M12. I was referring to the 2 studs in the sump on the non-diff side. I've attached a pic and i've put a few details on. The measurements aren't 100% accurate, but are close, so i don't think there will be any problems changing the 2 M10 holes to M12 ones, will there? Oh, and before i forget again, in ur instruction book u say the tapped holes in the plate and the bolts u supply have a thread pitch of 1.50, but they actually are 1.25 thread pitch, just thought i'd let you know
  12. i've been on the phone most the morning chasing up stuff for this sump, so it hasn't been all that bad awwee look at that, she sent u kiss daniel
  13. good morning there danielson
  14. caus u wont be able to handle the power i take it u've got the 400hp one?

  17. lucky man lee lucky man you reckon it'll break the 300 barrier?
  18. I think it'd be really helpful if some of the day to day legal racers post a reply in here. Save alot of the mis-information...
  19. sounds like a pretty boring weekend then
  20. sup phatman got plans for the weekend?
  21. thats awesome ..u going to take it for a re-tune then? or just a dyno run to see if the afr's are still all sweet?
  22. agreed! yes, but will it be running? oh and u'll need to get $65 off daniel
  23. cheers for the extended response daniel Is this 'slop' detremental to the holding ability of the bolts? Another way i can see it working, is bolt the plate to the sump, and drill out the holes in the plate through into the sump to take an M12 bolt. This way there won't be any 'slop' in the hole in the sump side. Although this may only work if the holes in the plate are currently M10. I'm at work and home is a 45min train ride away, so cant confirm if this will work until i get home tonite.
  24. seeing as though its the 2 studs right above the axle, i dont think so
  25. i dont have experience with turbos. but from what i can gather anything over $1000 can be taxed if the package is checked via customs. Also expect to wait ATLEAST 4 weeks for the part to arrive. i ordered an oil filler cap on the 18th last month, its due to arrive on the 16th this month
