too much money? wtf are u buying an n1 oil pump then for? for ~50 bucks in mods u could save ur farking engine u toss

lets face it, ur not going to be easy on this motor, and ur going to see it bouncing off the limiter a fair few times. uve read the oil control thread right? rb's spin bearings because of the lack of oil in the sump, that means its up in the head. restricting the flow to the head, and running an external drain from the back of the head, will help get all that excess oil back down into the sump, where its meant to be. also, the n1 pumps flow more than the std pumps, but at the same pressure.

lol trueeeee. i mite add, if ur going to use an n1 pump, make sure u have the right oil restrictors in, and a drain from the back of the head. P.S found a sump yet?

no such thing as an rb25 n1 oil pump lol. n1 stuff is only rb26 related. that said they all bolt up to the rb series haha true true

depends if ur stock coils are shagged or not, only way to find that out is to actually run the 14psi or whatever. i'm going to assume std turbo etc. if it misses and shiz, go the usual route of splitfires

we wired up a new signal wire directly to the ecu, and it read the same on the hand controller (voltage wise) as with the std ones in the engine bay. so no melted wires its running perfectly. idles just like it use to, and when u can rev it out, it revs fine, no hesitation its like its got some sort of rev limiter on it, but i checked that on the hc and it hasnt been changed since the last tune
