  4. engine hasnt been run yet so i cant say how it performs. pics of the head are in here - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...es-t245266.html
  5. these are of a 26 head i had done for a monster rb26/30 33gtr i'm building for a friend. all the headwork was done by will @ jhh in brisbane. basics are 1mm os valves both sides & what he classify's as a 'race master spec port, polish & chamber work'. all port/chamber/valve seat work came to $1500. I must say though, you shouldnt base the real world performance of a head on what it flows on a static bench, you should only use a flow bench as an indicator only.
  6. Well just got off the phone with greg and we've decided that it'll be easier for me to make the gears and collars. So, if your keen on a set send me a pm or register ur interest in here so i can gauge how many sets i need to get made in the first batch and i'll put up a group buy thread once i've spoken to my machinist to clarify prices and dates. Rough prices atm will be about $600 for the collar and gears.
  7. I'm selling up but that doesn't mean i have to stop developing parts A bit of conflict of interest here but i'll update this post when greg gets back to me.
  8. I'm actually at my machinist tomorrow picking up something anyway so i'll discuss it with him and get back with a possible outcome.
  9. performance wholesale last time i rang was $714 give Ross a call as they can make a custom balancer to suit ur application
  10. before we get back on topic... anything coming from summit is automatically picked out at customs, i rang the head of customs finding out why we get stung and they said in conversation that anything from summit is picked out straight away. their boxes stand out pretty well so its hard to miss them k, back to it...
  11. yeh thats the only problem, uve gotta keep the single order below 1k or u get assed raped with the stupid taxes, and only because they are automotive parts we can't claim free trading (f**k you government)
  12. when ur buying ur fuel system from www.summitracing.com just throw in the 1000p balancer too paul!
  13. same design the tomei pump is based on, hence its awesomeness why do they need to be made in Germany? Its not like there arent any machines here in australia that can't do the job. You don't even use a bloody conventional CNC to do them properly. plus all (from what i've seen) aftermarket pump housings are shitty cast housings, f**k me they'd only cost ~600 to make or is Germany code for Taiwan?
  14. I wouldnt say they are shit, they are however made of a low grade material. They have a nice CNC machined finished aswell. Saying that, in my view they can be improved upon in many ways .
  15. it wouldnt be possible if it needs a collar, even so the subfame would have to be dropped to drop the sump low enough to remove the pump. im with draino, external or nothin
  16. getting offtopic here but u should stick a good condition rb30 pump on it
  17. yeh it woulda been busters setup ur thinking of baron heres some pics of setups the guys at rips have made (im sure rob wont mind )
  18. you would actually be suprised to find out what material they are actually made out of. you would then feel pretty bad if u spent the ~550 asking price oh, best you dont read my post above if your serious and want to talk about dry sump/external pump clearances send me a pm and i'll help you out. i'm more than happy to help you out without emptying your pockets Virgin hostesses are much better looking though
  19. parachute, release cable, sump & engine covers are sold
  20. 'pop' the clutch i.e a few in and outs with the clutch pedal and some revs and bobs ur uncle riding buttons isnt very good for their life expectancy
  21. Thread for my car can be found here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/32...as-t283256.html
