I think your right pops, I'll have to call or email Flyn and ask before buying. I'm sure they will have something! Thanks....

Thank you turbomad for all your help! So I suppose you are definetly recommending getting one of these combo pipes? Any chance of letting me know or actually getting a pic of the size bolts you need in the centre you were talking about? would be very helpful!!! Do you also have a high flow cat turbomad as I would also like to purchase the high flow cat from Flyn as well making sure that it has the flanges come with it so it should bolt straight up to the combo pipe! Regards, Gianni

Thanks turbomad, So I suppose you would recommend getting it? Is there any chance you could take a pick off it fitted up if it's not to much of a hassle? Hope I'm not asking for to much! Other than the little grinds you had to perform, did it make the car respond better, sound different? did it come close to touching anything on the floor pan, the reason I'm asking this is because there have been cases where an aftermarket dump/front pipe have touched the floor pan just below the firewall and has caused bad vibration noises due to poor manufacturing. Last Question, how much larger was the dump opening you bought compared to the original, much larger. I know you posted a pic but it doesn't look much bigger. Hope I'm not asking for to much turbomad. Your help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Gianni

Hi SydneyKid, Just a quick question, the Audi boost controller you suggested that is good, would it also be good to fit to a R33 GTS-T series II as I would like to fit one to my vehicle but not sure what type of bleed valve would best suit! I'm really getting confused hearing about all the different types of bleed valves that are out there on the market, some that have waste gate creep some that don't? I know that most people would suggest a EBC but they get very pricey. I suppose you pay for what you get hey? Will a turbosmart one be o.k and there's also another one which is made by DNA Motorsport you may want to look at, check this site out. http://www.dnamotorsport.com/Products/products1.html I know this may have been asked so many times but what supposed to be a very good type of bleed valve out there which you don't get much spiking from? I better cut this short and not bore the hell out of you guys but one more quick question, will I really need to fit an aftermarket boost guage if I decide to fit a bleed valve or can I use the standard one without damaging it? Thank's for all your help guys! Regards, Gianni

Mr SeriesIIGTST & turbomad, how did you go with your combo dump/front pipe from Flyn? sorry to be a pest guys but I would like your input on the quality & fitment of the dump/front pipe that you ordered from Flyn. Was it also the mild steel one that you guys ordered as well painted in that heat resistant paint? Hope to hear from you! Thanks, Gianni
-
Thanks red17 and seriesIIgtst, hope to hear from you soon in regards to that combo pipe you got seriesIIgtst. If all works out with quality build, and bolt up fitment & most importantly performance, I think I'll have to get one! Keep up the good work men! Gianni

Hey turbomad and SeriesIIGTST, sounds like a good idea buying the dump/front pipe from Flyn Performance! I would really like to hear from the two of you on what your thought's are on the quality of these pipes you bought and how well they bolt up to factory spec's and perform! Should be very Interesting! As soon as I get some money together I think I'll have to join you guys! By the way SeriesIIGTST, did you also buy the dump/front pipe combo? What I really want to know is if you have an Apexi N1 cat back exhaust with standard cat, will this combo dump/front pipe bolt straight on to a 3" high flow cat with the N1 bolted to the rear of the cat and then the combo dump/front pipe bolt straight onto the turbo housing with no troubles? sounds like a bit of a mouth full hey! All the best guy's and hope to hear from you soom in regards to how good the combo pipes are you purchased from Flyn Performance, Regards, Gianni

Hello go to www.flyn.com.au they have them there for $280, they also have cat's, exhausts and other high performance stuff. Attachment: wpe43145.jpg I like the look of this dump & front pipe combo turbomad! Do you recomend this mob coz they look like they know there stuff and by looking at the pic of the combo dump & front pipe, it looks like it's been constructed very well! Would you know if this dump/front pipe will bolt straight up with no hassles meaning it won't rumble on the floor pan or be touching the fire wall making a racket? It shouldn't make a difference if I have an Apexi N1 cat back system would it? Regards, Gianni
-
Hey Guys, Hope this doesn't sound like real stupid question but how much of a difference will a dump pipe really make? If you had an Apexi N1 front pipe bolted up to a standard dump pipe, would you notice any power gains if you fitted a larger dump pipe?, even having the front pipe on alone? Also what do you think is better doing in that case, getting a dump & front pipe combo, or having an Apexi N1 front pipe and then getting a custom dump pipe or somthing like a hks dump pipe? Thanks men, Gianni

Weird that you say that Mr fanny, I'm sure the last time I went into a performance shop in Abbotsford-Melbourne, the guy there had a N1 front pipe (new) and when I looked at it, actually held it, there was no flexi joint on it, just all one piece and painted in that black high temp coating paint! I think I might only go for a N1 front pipe, high flow cat - which one I still don't know yet, and the cat back system also being the N1. I'm not to sure but I don't think that the dump pipe will make a hell of a difference?? What I'm still not sure about is will the N1 front pipe bolt straight up tp the original dump pipe or will it have to be changed anyway? As far as a high flow cat, does anyone recommend a real good one being 3" and all and will also bolt straight up to a N1 cat back system and the N1 front pipe? One more thing Mr fanny, did your boost increase when you got your exhaust system fitted? I'm not sure if I'm still going to boost mine, to many mixed up thought's. Do you really need to fit an aftermarket boost gauge if I boost the turbo or can you continue to use the original boost guage on the dash without damaging the needle? Not sure about any of this??? Thanks for all your help guy's! Gianni

Hey guys, me again, Just a quick message there's a hks dump pipe that you can get, pretty expensive though! but it looks the part! check this site out http://www.bd4s.com.au/ $572.00!!! Not sure if it's going to bolt straight up tp the N1 front pipe???

Hey Adrian, How did you go with that dump pipe? did you find one yet? One thing I wanted to ask you is, since you have the N1 front pipe, what sort of a dump pipe can you get or use to bolt straight up to the N1 front pipe? Did you also have a high flow cat and a N1 cat back system Adrian because I'm still not sure how the N1 cat back system would fit to a stock cat? can it or do you need a high flow 3" cat to fit the rest of the system? I'm still deciding what system I want on my but I think I will be definetly going fot the N1 cat back and front pipe. Do you think It's really worth doing the dump? how much extra power do you think you will get? Thanks guys, Gianni

Thank's Predator, Would you know of hand if there are any Pioneer speakers for the rear that I could use without modifying anything? meaning keeping the original set up? Thanks, Gianni
-
Hello all, Can anyone tell me out there what size exactly are the original size of the rear speakers in an R33 coz I'm looking at replacing the original's with an exact fitment from the pioneer range if possible! Regards, Gianni
-
Hello Mr Fanny, Just out of curiosity, were and how much did you end up paying for your N1 rear muffler cat back if you don't mind me asking? How does it look and sound, as I would like to purchase one myself. One other thing also is Adrian, do you actually have a N1 front pipe or a GT front pipe coz I know that these 2 are different is this right or wrong? Thanks guys, Gianni

R33 Gts-t fuel warning light?
Gianni replied to Gianni's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hello all again!, Thanks to all that gave me an answer as I haven't had the chance yet to run as low as most of you have told me that I would see the warning light come on! But especially Robo's question which is in fact Interesting as I would like to know from all you other guys if when you turn your Ignition on, does the fuel light come on for those of you with the same model skykine as mine? This should sum thing's up a little easier I think! Regards, Gianni -
R33 Gts-t fuel warning light?
Gianni replied to Gianni's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Thanks for the help guy's as I was starting to worry that this machine didn't even have a fuel warning light! So conclusion is, It will only come on when I'm practically running on vapours is this right? Cause I tell ya It was running fairly low the other day and still didn't come on but like you were saying, It may have not been low enough? Thanks, Gianni...... -
Hello all, I know this may seem like a stupid question but I have a 97 R33 Gts-t series 2 and on a few occasions have driven the car on very low fuel, that is the fuel guage needle was on the square bit of the fuel guage at the bottom of it so in other words very low and there was no signs of a fuel warning light? Has anyone else had this problem or was it just me and my car could have been driven for a fair while more? Thanks, Gianni

Hello all, as you probably know I'm new to this forum but I also think it's fantastic! Just wanting to know if anyone can help me choose what exhaust system to go for on my r33 gts-t as I am thinking of going for a Apexi GT or an N1. Doe's anyone have any pics as to what these systems look, sound and perform like on a r33? Thanks......
