You have a lift in the playboy mansion! Man, you guys have the best toys.. And Bris your efforts during that spin was crap. Ths Stig would have spun that back around the second time and still punched out a 1:21...

Brisby: "Whoa. Her ass is all over the place" Snowy: "When the rear end's loose, the car's fast. Loose is fast, and on the edge of outta control" I used this theory and undid most of the bolts on my car a couple of turns... Now it just rattles.

Love the slide around 3 - you looked pretty calm with the arse out at 150+kmh... I guess that's the difference between my 190kw NA and 280kw with booost! Nice indecision gear wise at MG too, he he Your a nutter. Great vid.

Here you go Troy Try not to turn gay when you resign from the motorsport position, OK!

I believe the owner of the car signs a disclaimer allowing the instructor to drive the car. Instructors are people with lots of track experience and will be driving way below racing speeds as it is just a sighting lap, nothing more. i.e. Session 1 - Sighting Session with Instructor Driving, Learning Lines, Braking-Entry-Apex-Exit points etc.. Session 2 - Slow Session with Driver Trainer Driving, putting into practice what was learned in session 1. Following Sessions - The DT's speed will increase as confidence and experience grows throughout the day. The Instructor may let the DT continue the day solo once he is confident the DT is aware of his/her surroundings and in control of the car. If you are not comfortable with that then we suggest you go and do a John Bowe course or similar before joining us on track.

PI wil be going ahead. The thread on the WRX Forum was just a heads up regarding cost so the regs don't freak out when the supp regs are posted.

We will be presenting our outstanding event trophies for the 2006 motorsport season at our February Club meeting at the Village Green Hotel, Mulgrave this Thursday 15th Feb. Meeting starts about 8pm. There's a few frequenters (?) of this forum on the list and it would be great if you could come down to collect your trophies in person. I have the following people on the list: Aaron Panozza, Ray Evans, Roy Cushan, Scott Wallace, Richard Huggins, Chris Davies, Nigel Beale, Nedir Elhajie and Michael Vati. If you know them and they are not on this forum can you please send them a message. Thanks Apart from that, if your interested in coming down for a look (beer) your welcome to

he he, no need to be scared as you can drive as fast as you feel comfortable That's the whole point the Driver Training Groups
-
Fax away, and write on the form that you will pay cash on the day.
-
If you enter the driver training group you have the ability to take out a more experienced driver to show you the lines, braking points etc. The driver trainers are usually WRX Club members with lots of experience. All Driver training instructors need the approval of the clerk of course. As a driver trainer you will not be timed at any stage of the event. If you have already paid $120 to enter the DT group contact Clarissa at secretary@wrx.com.au and she will be able to deal with it. If you want to enter as a normal driver is will be $140 and all sessions will be timed. If you have been to calder before you will be grouped with cars with similar lap times to the one you state on your entry form. If you have track experience (but have not driven at calder) a standard WRX with a good driver is about 1:10 so somewhere a couple of seconds either side of that should see you right depending on your car and your experience.
-
Geoff, Just tell here you'll take away sex until she lets you go racing...
-
I was told last night that we did not have any DT's for Calder But I see you name is on the entry list so maybe shoot an email through to Clarissa - secretary@wrx.com.au Do this ASAP and hopefully she'll get it before she processes the payments, then you should be right

Due to the time of year and below average entries to date, we have decided to offer driver training entries for our upcoming event at Calder Park for only $70! Please note that this event is on this coming Saturday night! We start in the afternoon and finish under lights. We use the long track as per the V8 supercars etc.. So if you were thinking of entering your first track day this year, here is a perfect opportunity to have some fun on a race track for a super price. Please note: this is only for people who want to come and try without the pressures of speed. You don't have to drive flat out (but you can ) and your laps will not be timed. This offer is open to anyone. Please note you will need at least a fire extinguisher mounted in your car, an approved helmet and neck to angle clothing (preferably mostly cotton). You car will need to be roadworthy and your tyres over the minimum depth. If you have any questions ask the receptionist in the Lancer... (or post here ) Entry Form - Right click and Save as Sup Regs - Right click and Save as

We're doing a couple of DECA days ourselves this year because yours are so popular a fair few of our members miss out. We'll open the entry list to our members a week or so before we open it to everyone similar to what you guys do. 4 hours is not a big enough window to get entries in And of course your all welcome! (use em as practice for your championship )

Hey Snowy, Happy Birthday! Hope your whole day was full of those supercheater practice runs and WD's you love so much!
