Just a couple of over ripe apples mate, same as most clubs. The problem these days is that forums make it too easy for people to air dirty laundry...

The hold up was due to the fact that we didn't have another set of flaggies to swap over. We can't ask flaggies to stayout from 5pm - 11pm without bringing them in for a break, some food, toilet etc.. Ideally we'd be able to swap them over in 5 minutes if we could get some of the other clubs racing with us to rustle up some flaggies too...hint wink wink nudge..

<Me flips left bird to snowy and right to geoff> I don't decide the classes. I did like the idea of splitting associate class into 2WD and 4WD classes as it was getting a bit big to score points in. ie most of the top 10 cars in assoc. were Skylines. We looked over last years results and it was a much fairer split with a 2wd and a 4wd associate class. Trophy for first place only in each class and a 1,2,3 for the championship. That was my vote but Tony has gone in some other typical lazy Bat direction. And by the way, I have far too many trophies already (New engine = 227kW )

Passengers are allowed (weather permitting) at AASA events only. We no longer allow passengers at CAMS events due to CAMS permits having no defined rules for their inclusion. The provision for passenger laps in AASA events is still up to the CofC on the day. You can thank the ever increasing insurance nightmares for that one...

ok lads I've looked into it and I can get 5 minutes of voice conversation on the '3' network (as long as I'm calling someone else on the '3' network.) So does anyone else on '3' want to talk about this? and if so saff_ are you able to EFT the 10c?

Guys, I can highly recommend CarTint in Ringwood. The films used are top notch and workmanship is second to none. Rob was our first Club Prez and is still active with the club today (nearly 10 years later!) If you are interested, his contact details are under the CarTint section of the WRX forum.
