Anyone tried wiring up 2 by stock or z32 afm's in parallel? Shouldn't that give you twice the resolution\airflow and you just tune to suit?

Yeah the old school cars are easy to get around adr's cos there wasn't any back then. I have a 1970 val ute and I don't think I even need to have seatbelts in it! The funny thing about the defects blitzes and stuff is that there have always been hoons on the road, its just these days there is a whole lot of media hype giving car enthusiasts a bad name. So the government has brought in more laws yadda yadda yadda. Personally, I think 5w oil is too thin. As soon as it heats up its goin to get thinner than 5w. The oil will heat up quick especially if your tappin the limiter. Nissan probably recommends 5w for a stock vehicle in Japan, but over here the weather is hotter and there is not a whole lot of us running stock engines. I run 20w mineral synthetic blend and a few mates with tougher engines run 15w and 20w. They have 400hp v8s, a couple RB's and a SR pushing out 300kw at the wheels. The only engine failure I have seen from them is a rod through the block on a mates 383 chev while he was laying a skid at 8000rpm. Anyway my 2c.

I used the 10mm spacer with longer studs. Came in a kit from GCG with gaskets too. The stock studs needed a bit of heat with the oxy and a fair bit of crc to get them to come out. cheers

Lost power from an exhaust upgrade??? An exhaust upgrade usually results in more power because of the extra flow. Well at least on the NA cars I have owned. Is it louder than the old exhaust? If not there may be a restriction somewhere and that could be the cause of your power loss?
