  1. My new car, should be just a few weeks away..... '96 S2.
  2. yeah good thinking, but im not sure you can put a car on the boat without a passenger, and id still need to get to devonport somehow to collect it ( i live in hobart). going to collect it is half the experience for me, but just trying to keep costs down. Cheers, bart
  3. Cheers dude, much appreciated, ill let you know ASAP
  4. I'll hopefully have a concrete date on monday arvo, id be able to give at least a weeks notice though. Im sure you can be taken on a tour of some of tassies more scenic areas, might give me a chance to take the new car for a decent length drive! You will have a PM monday evening Cheers, Bart.
  5. I'm sure something could be arranged Wonder if a carton of cascade premos counts as hand luggage???
  6. If you define High Octane as 98RON then yes, BP has ultimate in pretty much all their servos now, with others sure to follow suit. Cheers, Bart
  7. I'm more than willing to reimburse whatever it costs to come pick me up, only trouble is that i dont have an exact date for when the car will be ready, makes it difficult. Just looking at the calender, it should be ready by the 29th / 30th, anybody free during either one of those mornings?? Cheers, Bart.
  8. Yeah thats why i wanted alternative transport, its around 55km to spotswood, so a fairly decent cab fare. With spirit of Tas charging $170 to come back with only me sitting on a seat all damn night im trying to keep costs down!
  9. Yep ive already sussed it out on whereis.com, its just the actual getting along that route thats got me worth just catching a cab???
  10. G'day all, First time ive popped into the VIC section! My reason is im travelling up from good 'ol Hobart to collect my S2 R33 from Holfords motors in spotswood in a few weeks time. I'm just catching a midweek morning flight up to catch the spirit of tas home that night. As i'm already pushing s*&t uphill to pay for the car, wondering whats the cheapest way to get from tullamarine airport to holfords, ie. bus to CBD first? i mean i wouldnt say no to a pickup Cheers, Bart.
