Hey, Putting the power FC in is no troubles at all, its litterally a 5 minute job and the standard map ran my car no problems, however i wouldn't advise leaving it untuned for too long just incase. To tune it you would either need to take it to a tuning shop who had the laptop dongle, or borrow a hand controller from a mate to tune it yourself. Either way I would recommend getting it tuned by a professional. Cheers

haha, when i was in victoria i was going for a bit of sideways action around a nice corner, really lighting it up, late at night i didnt think anybody else was around.. 2 streets later blue and red so I pulled over, the cop made me pop the hood and pointed out the bov, intercooler and pod (different victorian rules) then also pointed out that the exhaust was too loud, on top of dangerous driving and some other things.. then he went to check my license, and goes "ahh, brisbane boy hey.. shorncliffe.. i was from sandgate.. " then it turned out he went to the same highschool as me, and after he found out i was in the army he just told me to get the illigal mods sorted and not to get caught again.. haha, ahh well, i guess its true about it all depends on who you get

hah, i bought a GTR bar cheap a few days ago with the idea of doing this as i have just installed a fmic.. it appears to line up fine, however id say it needs the GTR crash support as the GTST one does not line up at all, and no amount of hacking/cutting looks like it will make it.. i drive a 33 however, im not sure if its the same for a 32. on a side note im thinking of keeping the stocker front bar over the GTR bar cus in my oppinion you just cant beat that sleeper look

thanks for the comments guys, yeah i did try a search, i could only find one post but it was with the rb20. thanks for saving me the heartache in advance, i was just about to go down and pull off the original intake manifold (have a new gasket for it anyway) and see how the GTR manifold fitted, but as it stands now, i think i shall just go the 180 degree bend

hey, i have been toying for the idea of trying to fit an rb26 intake plenum onto my rb25 for a while now, not really chasing power but in an effort to tidy up the intercooler piping that will run behind the radiater etc when i put my fmic on. anyway, i picked one up relitevly cheap the other day and on first inspection it seems as if everything will be good, just wondering if anybody has actually tried this before? if so what headgasket did they use and did they keep the 6 throttle bodies (beyond me) or just weld another flange onto the end of the manifold and attatch the stocker? just any general info people would have to share on this would be much appreciated, cheers, mark
