  1. thats why you need remote central locking......my keys have never touched the lock on the door yet. you could always get a coat hanger and try and practice breaking into your own car.....but then, it would look dodgy doing it at a carpark.
  2. Hi all, just curious to see if anyone has a R33 series 2 steering wheel lying around gathering dust? I need it for this weekend for track day. cheers all
  3. they have such sexy exhaust note........if only it was turboed, RW drive.
  4. man $400 is a steal.....I got one for 650....bah...I should've waited hahahhahahaha good luck with the sale.................these cards are awesome...
  5. nah, they couldn't fit me in this week, so I took it to UAS instead. They ordered the barrel today and will arrive tomorrow for fitting. Suspension is getting changed as well, along with a quick tune. The only little thing left is the steering wheel, might just have to use a tape to tape up the part the thieves cut and hope no one notices.
  6. WOHOO I have a nice round number......the car is in for repairs and will be done on Friday.......now.....who wants to help me bleed the brakes?
  7. wow, sound like you are having a good time, hope you have pics to share with us.
  8. try a neon sign on the roof "Spot the Turd"
  9. eh??? im still not on the list???? I'm sure I paid
  10. omg.....this is just getting ridiculous, we really need to start trapping these f**kwits and make an example out of them
  11. 4-5 months!!!! damn steve, seems your car is one lazy little f**ker, spends most of its time sleeping in the garage. Well, hope you get it done AND that nothing else breaks anymore.
  12. hope you are not thinking of putting a bodykit on a GTR, the only bodykit I would ever put on a GTR would be the NISMO kits...NOTHING ELSE. btw I think I saw your GTR in Chatswood on saturday parked in a parking lot on albert st, is that your car? can't believe everything is stock as.......need dish wheels.....DIIIISH!!!!!!
  13. Alright ladies and gents, just got my baby back after an agonising week. Went to Riverwood towing after work today..... dodgy area with some seriously dodgy f**ks around. Anyway, went inside the impound lot and there she was, still sitting there looking as beautiful as ever wheels shining in the light. I had a look around and apparently no external damage except the front bar corner fell off again (my fault). The only damage was the ignition barrel? (is that wahat you call it?) They had ripped the entire thing out and just used a screw driver to start the car. The only thing they took was a bag of K mart tools and my cds which is no big deal really. The SAFC2 was left intact as well... All in all, not too much damage but definitely have to get it repair before the track day. I got my new suspension kit today, so I might as well get it done altogether now that a perfectly free weekend has been wasted and probably won't have time to work on the car. ok all, time for me to get the repairs started, better start calling workshops and see how much it'll cost to get everything done. Recommendations anyone?
  14. gonna go get alarm/immob and insurnace once I get the car back, any recommendations?
  15. just waiting for the police to finish up the forensic. If they do get caught....well, i'll be pressing some outrageous charges on them. From what the police told me, the only damage is to the ignition area where they used the screw driver, but I'll be taking it to a mechanic nontheless to get a quick check, then to sterilise the car.
  16. Good to hear someone learnt their lesson even if it is the hard way.
  17. hahah yeah, it will be punished at wakefield
  18. no problem go right ahead and ask apparently, it was just damage to the ignition when they stuck a screw driver into it
  19. hell yeah....not gonna take another risk like that
  20. I just got off the phone with Constable Woods from Riverwood Station. My car just been found and is now in their posession. I'll be calling them tomorrow to get the details and hopefully take her home. Apparently it was just a joy ride and left it at Punchbowel. I do hope the thieves get caught but nothing could describe how relieved and happy I am at the news. A big thank you to all you guys and your kind words, and especially Liz for cheering me up. OMG THIS IS AWESOME!!!! I feel whole again.
  21. i wouldn't mind if it turned up a year later, then I'd have two skylines but thats just wishful thinking. I'm gonna wait for a couple of weeks and see if anything turns up. Just a question, do RTA have cameras on the M2? I thinking that if it did, maybe they'll let me see some footage of it for thursday night. Maybe possibly footage from the harbour bridge tool booth. I'm thinking they might have taken the fastest route out my area which would have to be the M2. Anyone here work for RTA....?
  22. sorry to hear it, good thing the car is still there and still repairable.
  23. lesson learnt, next time definitely gonna have the insurance money ready before even considering a car
  24. a friend of mine went through m7 a few weeks ago with out tag, but so far, no tickets yet
