ha ha yeah, this i no! but, seeing as my car is at the panel beaters for bout another week (damn crazy work vans), i just wanted to get it sorted now... but yeah, the most obvious way wil prob have to do if all else fails...

yeah-i read in a bmw manual that the most efficient way to warm up the car was just to drive off, going easy on the accelrator for about 5 mins-seems easy enough to me, and better than sitting round waiting for a car to warm up... so yeah, just stay off boost (if u can help it) for like five mins

cool-i think ive got it now - thanks 4 all the help - one last thing-does anyone know if DTM made the 078 in anything wider than 8"? cause if theyre 8's, then im sweet, but if theyre 10's, ill have to ditch em? im running 255's atm on them if that helps? thanks

yeah, i tried that - unfortunately, they were as vague as i was-famous, being based in perth, didnt really no wat was legal. ill prob just trawl the rta site to check... btw-anyone heard anything about famous? ie what theyre like to deal with? etc

the main reason i ask is that the insurance co says that any mod thats okay with the man is ok with them.... id like to keep my rims, but if it means easier ins. then ill ditch them in favour of somthin narrower....

just a q b4 i get some insurance - does anyone know what the rules are regarding wheels in NSW? ie what size you can go to on an R33 S2 - currently, i have 18x10 DTM 078 (i think they're 10's) with 255/35 rubber? is this legal given the standard wheel size? some ppl say no more than one inch over factory/others say it is based on rolling diameter thanx

ha ha yeah, rotors blowing up r funny-it happens to a mate on a weekly basis.... yeah, dissappointing not c the nissans out in more force... hopefully in a couple more weeks there'll be a bigger showing-if certain mates transfer their rego....

i was there-2 of my mates went to run, but neither could cause they still havent transferred their regos yet... not happy. but was stil a decent nite. not many skylines representin though...
