  1. assuming that no repairs need to be done prep with p800 wetndry for metallics, p600 for solids. you dont need to take all the paint off, just the shine. as for guns, get one with a 1.4mm needle and when painting i adjust the needle out 2.5 turns from closed and hold it about a fist width from the pannel. i could go on forever about this topic, but i wont. practise practise practise. pm me if ya need any questions answered.
  2. the easiest way is to put a bleed valve on the actuator line. 1. search forum for boost controller, think someone posted em for $20 2.cut the vacume line in half from the turbo to the actuator 3.install valve 4.adjust valve till happy with boost. its as easy as that.
  3. plugged my wolf 3d into a mates 32, it worked but didnt go the same as mine cause it was tuned to my mods, if you have different mods to your mate you will need to get it retuned
  4. sounds like maybe the actuator arm needs more travel, can you disconect the actuator from the waste gate and then wire the wastegate fully open, mine wont even make 1psi if i do this so it should give you a good indication of what the problem is
  5. how did i do that, sorry
  6. thanks mate but then ill still have to make another one. think ill just build a box that will fit 2 and clear the parcel tray. thanks anyway
  7. thanks but it looks like ill have to pull my finger out and make one
  8. my excel had a bit under 1/4 tank and i put 355ml (a beer bottle) of acetone in. drove around stop start, left to right. temp stayed normal, no miss, no post ignition. everything stayed the same, it might have gone a little bit better mid range, but cant swear on that, anyway it done no damage at all and ill be interested to see if any of you guys get good results.
  9. still got it? can you give dimentions of box and would you sell the box without the subs. thanks
  10. we have some at work, ill dump a bit in my excel tomorrow and see what happens. did anyone see myth busters when they put the moth balls in the fuel, increased octane and rpm picked up
  11. go for the dvd player and screen, i just put one in my car. only $400 off ebay and its great. looks like an alpine deck too
  12. hey mate i replaced my diff recently with a viscous, i no that cause it had it stamped on it. if u can get the car in the air and have a look
  13. not as easy as it looks, it takes practise. thats why i done a 4 year apprenticeship. get an old bonnet, stand it upright, have a go and learn from your mistakes. when your happy with the way the bonnet looks, do the car.
  14. plug for cas in properly, give it a wiggle and see what happens
  15. not 100% sure but sounds like a air lock, i would try giving them a good bleed and make sure the master cylinder is full while doing so
  16. hey shane there is a set of 6 gtr injectors on ebay going for $50 at the moment, i bid on them but just organised a set elsewhere. they still have a few days to go but might go cheap if you can wait. hope this helps.

  22. hey guys just a quick one, are you still using standard rb20det ignitions, and what do you think is the limit of them rwkw before upgrade is necessary. just trying to sort out some problems with mine at the moment, thanks.
  23. the air temp sensor for the r32 is inside the afm, so ive been told by the tuning shop i use
  24. take it to a radiator shop and get them to pressure test it,even a mechanic could do this. i had a similar problem once, cracked block. make sure u drive it hard before u take it down so they see what it is doing. good luck
