  1. yes brutal it was .. very brutal indeed .. time to build a serious 32 i think , getting dusted by 12 secs is not acceptable
  2. just got home .. awsome weekend , chasing russ around the track watching the rear of the big 35 slide around on the wet runs is quite intense , never been there before but will definetly going back at the next chance i get , with respect to wrxkilla , i followed him all through round run and i did see the car moving around a bit but i have to say none of it looked like intentional drifting but other than the 1st round i cant vouch for him , only got 3 rounds in .. 1st round no power steering , missed second round while still fixing power steering (thanks for the tools mark and russ) , 3rd round 2 laps were wet and last round round of day 1 lap was wet but still managed a 3.34.?? on street tyres , still a good 12 seconds off the pace of the black monster but oh well , finished 3rd overall and 1st in class .
  3. yeah that sucks , i'm not real keen on the every run counts towards a total either .. you should be able to drop at least 2 runs or something i know what your saying about popping a cooler pipe , i got a dnf because of it wich reminds me i borrowed 2 x motorbike tie downs out there to keep my pipes together if anyone knows who they are send me there address so as i can send them back

  5. 660 at the treads through a 3'' system with cat , resonater and full muffler that passes a no load noise test at 5100 rpm ... yeah rite!... maybe 450 is more like it . defect list as long as your arm ???? ..... name them !

    looking for brembo f50 calipers and rotors from a r34 gtr or 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears alcons/grex/greddy , anything at all suit gtr

  9. seat belts do not get replaced during compliance unless damaged ... what is the vin number .. you will be qable to decode the exact build date from that
  10. no longer in production .. made by nismo .. engine number will start with NS and RRR will be where the O5U/24U usually is ... you will pay around 8 - 10 k for a good s/h block or around 12 for a newy if you can find someone that has one stashed away somewhere

  18. i have a r33 rb 26 crank that has been balanced and fully trated , it cost $700 just for the work , i will sell it for that , i don't need it as i bought a wreck from japan that had 2.8 crank in it

  21. hi i imported a r33 gtr it only landed here 3 weeks ago and the compliancing is finished , car is registered
  22. hi i have fitted a few different garret turbo's to rb 26 and most of them will need a restrictor , rb 26 engines have one of the most high oil pressures out of everything i have had instances where engines have been making 50 psi oil pressure at idle , this is to much for a ball bearing turbo turbo at idling speeds and will push oil past the seals and cause it to blow blue smoke at idle ,you need to be using between .9 and 1.1 mm restrictor it does not have to be built into the turbo it can be anywhere in the supply line this will drop your idling pressure to around 10 - 14 psi the oil pressure will increase as the engines revs increase , it would pay to put a oil pressure gauge after the restrictor so you can keep an eye on it
