  1. Yep, it was Ken that did it in his 86, best way to get a hold of him is on driftwa forrums
  2. Isnt 6psi a bit low for a gtr? thought it was closer to 10psi stock
  3. Prety shure that bulge of metal is the factory intrusion bar, same as mine when it was complied and the engineer said that that was fine...
  4. Now thats an impressive list, any lap times/power numbers?
  5. Are you realy shure that theres nothing in there? Because the late 32GTR's came factory fited with side intrusion bars. It looks like a fairly puny little thing that runs along the inside of the doors. Ive got one in my passenger door in my 32 GTR
  6. http://www.fia.com/resources/documents/190...logations_a.pdf Closest I can find, page 32 interestingly enough...
  7. You will probably find that there’s nothing to gain from revving a 26 that high unless you have really big turbo’s which I assume you wouldn’t as you would be after response for drifting. The rod bolts would probably be the first thing to let go revving a stock motor that high. Keep it under 8K for safety sake
  8. Care to share what you think that reason is? Its yellow zone from 7500 till 8000 where the redline starts btw
  9. Definitely a NISMO pump, also using a tomei oil restrictor and making a custom oil return from the back of the head to the sump. Also using mines cam cover baffles if that matters
  10. Thanks for that, I do intend to run the car at the track so good to hear from someone who has tried both in those conditions
  11. Thanks for all the replies so far, oil pump is a NISMO if that makes a difference
  12. Thats prety much what I was thinking to, theres no way or point having both in there is there?
  13. Given the choice of any and labour is not an issue (engine is out) what would you chose and why? Trust Oil sump extension or Tomei baffle's? Have both sitting here and not sure what to use Thanks for your input
  14. Does it come with the stands? If so I'll take it. Hope You can post to perth
  15. Is it actually possible to use the 33GTR rotors with 32GTR callipers? Thought the difference in width (going from 32mm to 30mm) on them would be a problem?
  16. Duno, what it cost as I didnt pay for it but I think it was arround the 150 mark... took a bit over an hour
  17. No compression check. They do drive it for a bit and check for smoke Sure they don’t really know as much about imports as the workshops do and I had the same opinion that it’s not worth doing the test until I had one done on my 180. They give you a very good indication of the condition of the car and they do go over it with great detail. The report itself is a very detailed 2 page summary and tells you the overall condition and the condition of separate components, i.e., Engine, electronics, drive train, cosmetic... etc Not good if your car is stuffed though
  18. Starter motor, aparently theres a spring in there or something that makes that noise over time
  19. The rac check will note the mods on the car as "observations" it will state along the lines of " observation: boost controller fitted to vehicle" Just had one done on a 180 with aftermarket kat back and thats what the report had on it
  20. Those are GTR rods, the 05u means normal gtr. that and i have a set here
  21. I most definitely would
  22. Now thats some funny shit right there
  23. They shure do, greenline even lists top secret parts on their site but very limited, best bet is to ask them for what you want
  24. Greenline? nengun? Email either of them and i'm shure they would help you out.
  25. About 160 or 170 delivered for the nismo belt
