  1. Reece holds the record now with 7.57 doesn't he?
  2. A NISMO big operating cylinder will help, you can get them from greenline or nengun, or some other places
  3. $400 posted to perth?
  4. Thats a front pipe...
  5. When BMI tested it at the nurburgring when it first came out it went well of the clock on a 260K speedo, (looked close to 300ish) on the long straight. Car was suposedly standard with a speed cut defender
  6. NISMO does them, you can buy them from nengun, heres the link http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/979
  7. NISMO, suppose to be standard flow rate so you don’t have as much of the head swimming in oil problem but heavy duty construction so it doesn’t break easily
  8. Sounds like one hell of a list. So you got you’re crank ground to suit the bearings?
  9. Once the rods have been resized the grading numbers become fairly irrelevant though don’t they? My understanding was that you get a standard size bearing and then have the crank ground to get the desired oil clearances. I have no problem forking out for the nismo stuff but the differences in bearing grades on them are measured to the thousands of a mil and I don’t think there is mush that can measure you’re crank and rods that accurately is there?
  10. So the ACL black metal race bearings are the goods then? I thought that the ACL race bearings were tri metal bearings which I was told were not good for performance application?
  11. Noltec Check out the list on www.noltecsuspension.com
  12. I’m about to start putting back my engine (RB26) and was wondering what bearings I should be using. The other parts in the bottom end rebuild are as follows TOMEI 86.5mm pistons Standard rods shot peened resized and polished TOMEI reinforced rod bolts Standard crank with extended collar N1 oil and water pumps Trust sump extension ARP main and head stud kits NISMO 1.2mm head gasket Final power output I’m chasing will be 300awkw if that matters Any experienced feedback would be appreciated
  13. Julian is a retard. The GTR is perfectly civil in daily traffic and even with my Apexi coilovers was perfectly acceptable. The gearbox doesn’t make any noise and neither did the diff. Fuel isn’t to bad as long as your not thrashing it, but if you do then prepare to pay. Repairs aren’t too cheap but you would expect that from a car that was faster then the Ferrari’s and porches of its time, still holds its own well on the track even today.
  14. Nismo G attack S-tune suspension for R33 GTS-T is 5.3kg front and 4.8kg rear which is very reasonable
  15. Their server is down, it says so on their home page so they are probably not getting any of the emails right now because of that
  16. Yeh, golden week can be a bit of a bugger
  17. Most Japanese workshops seem to prefer using the HKS Fcon V pro ECU's for their GTR's which are also MAP based and they don't seem to have any problems with these...
  18. I have read that the D-jetro gives better throtle response and some people claim better fuel economy, how true is any of this?
  19. They always get availability before replying, coz if you decide to go ahead and buy the item then you already know if it is available and dont have to email them again to find out. You obviosley want to know if there is any delays in getting the item before you deposit money in their account dont you?
  20. I have spent thousands of dollars with greenline over the last 6 months or so and everytime I ordered something everything was done very fast. What you have to remember is when you email them for a price on say Tomei pistons or whatever, they then have to contact Tomei to find out availability befor geting back to you which can take a few days. The longest I have waited for a quote so far is 3 working days btw
  21. Just make shure you do all the usual tests before buying the moded GTR, and then be prepared to spend anyway
  22. Automodelista on PS2
  23. Spent many thousands of dollars with them and found them to be very prompt on delivery every time.
