no ti doesnt. and i got a r30 manual for $3 last year. But how is taht going to help me fix this? there is no fault in here to do with whats happening to my vehicle.

How should I go with diagnosing a fault like this?

i changed the alternator and its still happening......

i'm running a l20et so it may be a bit different. But they hoses going into the pipe with the afm i jsut bunged off. and the fuel breather i bunged off aswell. i'm running the standard ecu have had no probs.

that sucks. try http://www.slidewizeimports.com/ then browse to auctions and find r30. I've seen dr30 front bars on the yahoo japan auctions.

Yeh they are air control valves for the emission gear. I don't have it connected anymore (if i was in Califonia I would fail the smog test by alot...)

could that be the problem with my car?

Repco has alternators for under $200. So i'll go get one from there.

ok my gasket cost me $30 and i havnt had a problem with it. get the head and blocked resurfaced too preferably. the gasket is for L20, L24, L26 & L28

In my r30 skyline. i was driving along the other night and randomly the following lights came on and occacionaly flick off for a second but then come back on. If the car is under 1000rpm they dont come on, they once I rev it they come on and stay on. Sometimes go off for a sec when i stop or turn. The lights are: Door open Light, Coolant Overflow bottle light, Fog lights light, Window washer light, fuel light, and the spare tire light which is not on the dash but next to the interior lights on the roof. The four doors are too damn rare here. Compared to r32s anyway. I'll have a look in the directory for car wreckers surely somewhere up north will have something. I'll get the Dizzy sent next week :-) Its at course and at the moment its locked up because of midyear recess. Do you need a cap with it aswell? (You know theres no where in NZ where you can buy a new distributor cap for a L20et, but I got a brand new one in a Nissan box off trademe for $25NZD).

I "NEEEEED" the drivers door window regulator (assuming its got electric windows).

I use Penzoil engine oil and transmission fluid Lucas diff oil For the anti-freeze/boil i used to use Redline's WaterWetter which is amazing stuff, i'm using Shellcoolguard at the moment. Oops...i jsut realised this was the stagea part of the forums....

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone is wrecking a R30 coupe as I need the drivers door window regualtor for the electric window as mine is stuffed. I'm not sure if a sedan one will wrk but I assume they're the same. I Hope someone can help me... Thanks. George

Yep headgasket blown. Nissan...lol. It would be heaps from them probly. I went to repco and it was like NZD$22 George
