So much to write about my car, but comes down to the fact that i think it might be time to go, looking into some sort of convertible, either porsche boxster or beema. anyway hoepfully people can give me some rough prices on what theyd be willing to pay if they were looking for a r34 gtt. specs (most likely missed a shitload of stuff but people will get the hint) also apologies if everything is jumbled up im just typing as i think of specs. 2000 r34 gtt original bomex body kit (not sure about the rear bar, might be from a gtr or similar) work 17" rims (not sure which ones exactly) kei office coilover suspension lsd diff ( id say 1.5 way but not entirely sure) pod power fc ebc (greddy) greddy fmic 4 defi gauges recaro bucket seat injectors fuel pump oil catch can hks bov trust oil cooler nismo led taillights twin plate clutch kenwood dvd/mp3 player hks turbo timer im sure theres way way more, but il add as i go when i remember other stuff. and probably the best feature of the car is only roughly 30,000kms with service books to prove. Actually went to japan to find myself a car so all the mods where done there etc. The car was prob ready for some drift work if it hasnt done any already but then again with 30,000 kms you wouldnt think its done to much if any. I for one am definetely no drift king so never ever attempted to but i assume with a decent aftermarket turbo this thing will be great on the track or as a daily. some pics here: (bear in mind i did take the large drift wing of and put a nismo spoiler on it, ive changed the steering wheel back to stock and when taking the pics i was changing the oil catch can hence why the neo cover is of) also these pics are from when i just bought it in japan ( not to long ago as i havent been driving it for no more than 6 months) thanks heaps guys

hehe yehh didnt take me to long to realise they can bite back hard. thanks for the insight in terms of teh stalling, anybody got an idea of what that could be? seems to stall once in a while when i give it some decent throttle in 1st or 2nd gear and then slow down.? cheers

i see.. Thanks for that another thing, also noticed sometimes if im giving the car abit of stick on take of or whatever and goin quick around corners. It has a tendency to sometimes stall. Anybody had this problem in the r34 gtt before or know what may be causing it? cheers

hey guys, finally imported and complianced my r34 with came with a few goodies. Few things im concerned/need info on 1. Say for example i give my car abit of stick, ive noticed when i slow down and for eg turn into a street or whatever. The slip light flashes on the dash and for a few seconds the car dosent seem to respond when you accelerate. ( kinda like its lagging until the slip light goes of then it goes back to normal) would the fact that the cars got some sort of a/m lsd diff come into it . (which mind you is very F**king annoying, the car shakes like the wheels are about to fall of whenever im reversing or turning slowly) Also another thing the cars tyres have seen better days but still have some tread on them. if that comes into it at all. Mind you when turning the car isnt going sideways on anything like that which would probably cause the slip light to come on. Also the slip light situation dosent occur every time, but almost every time. 2. Cars also got a heavy duto clutch. Ive noticed once you switch the car on, and push clutch in. You can hear are sort of ringing noise from inside the cabin and pretty clearly outside aswell. Kinda like a bell goin of. Would that indicate the bearings or something to do with the clutch is in need of replacing or is that normal for an a/m clutch. (not sure whether its got single/twin plate etc etc) any help would be great as i cant say im to educated with these situations thanks alot guys

hey guys, recently blown my apexi 53b70 on the dyno. Anyway sourced out a guy who might be able to repair it, and he got back to me saying i needed a kit, and a wheel for it in order to be repaired. Just wondering if anyone could point me into the right direction to where i might be able to get the parts from, or someone on here who might be able to help me. If anyone in aus could get em that'd be great, or else i might have to look into gettin it from japan if the costs are still worth it. cheers guys and thanks

hey guys, need some advice recently took of some aftermarket parts to get my r34 gtt complianced. Then once everything was put back on (turbo,exhaust power fc) i obviously needed to tune the car again. Anyway wont mention which shop i took it to as there extremely well known. But after watching one or two short dyno runs i left the shop only to come back and be informed that my apexi turbo which was in the car had blown. Really f***ing pissed at the moment after they start pulling out bullshit like " it was bound to blow anyway etc etc" which i know for a fact is crap for lots of reasons 1. turbo was inspected my people i know who are mechanics which told me i had scored a turbo in brand new condition 2. i drove the car in japan for at least three weeks on the boost it was dyno'd at (roughly 12psi) which should be jack all for an apexi turbo 3. also drove the car to the workshop and car was running fine also as mentioned before first few dyno runs and the car seemed fine, according to them all it needed was new spark plugs and i come back to find they've blown the turbo. at the moment there making it out as if it wasn't there fault jsut wanted to know if anyone has had some past experiences like this and what my rights are. Are they liable to fix/replace my turbo thanks in advance for anyone who can help me cheers

id say put the boost down before you shit your turbo. Id also say your kilowatt reading is on par for your mods
