  1. I was wondering if anyone knows or can recommend from experience any good places in melbourne (preferably northern suburbs) who will re map my ecu to accomodate for my mods? (10 psi, fmic, turboback exhaust). Also what are the prices like to remap (r33 gtst) thanks heaps

  3. i had the same problem, my hybrid kit came without a nipple. get a nipple put on, connect it up, and all will be well again.

  6. the gunmetal grey colour they come in, nah not a type m, just the original series 1, the first ones that were realsed. its of a 93 .
  7. oh also forgot to mention, if you change gear over bout 3rpm in the morning after that bubbly engine note comes on, it goes away once the temperature hits almost half, you gotta change gears at like 1 1/2rpm to prevent it stalling. ONce temp is almost half then sound goes away. and i can drive normally
  8. hey guys wondering if yous could help me, i own a 33 gtst , mods include fmic, pod, turboback exhaust. runnin on low boost 5psi (seemed to have lost a few psi with fmic installation) Car is fine when you start it in the morning, however before the temperature gets half way, if i rev it in idle, or change gear in high rev, the car will begin to shake real bad and sometimes stall and the engine note changes ( sounds like a v8 just bubbling real loud), its not a big issue since obviosuly you dont rev turbo cars when cold even though it shouldnt do that, however at any time even after driving for a while, my car dosent seem to like being reved past say 4 rpm. The minute i give full throttle in any gear once it hits bout 3rpm it will start sort bunnyhopping abit, then be fine till about 4rpm, then from then on it starts bumping and sounds more and more unhealthy the higher i go. Not sure what it is, but its been happening for a while, thought it could be the coil packs? thats why its stalling if i rev to high in the morning, if not that maybe something to do with the ecu? someone even mentioned i should go for a aftermarket fuel pump? havent worked out the problem yet but some feedback would be great, most cars dont have trouble hitting 5/6 rpm even redline if you want. but my car really struggles to get to 6rpm even with full pedal down, it will do it occasionly if i slowly ( i mean really slowly push accelerator forward. It will if any only slightly increases over 5rpm and wont go any higher. sorry bout the essay guys lol thanks alot much appreciated
  9. hey guys, Ive upgraded a few things on my car so im selling a couple parts i got collecting dust in the garage. R33 S1 front bar, good condition, minor dints on the bottom of the bar due to a few scrapes here and there, but no scratches on the actualy paint or anything.   10. hey just a quick question im unsure about, saw a r33 the other day with a huge ass flutter, liek really loud. anyway pulled up to him at the lights and asked him what bov he was runnin or whatever, and he reckons hes blocked of the standard bov ( r33 gtst). Sounded alright but just wondering if blocking of the standard bov would be harmful to the engine (they were obviously put there for a reason). He also mentioned it was runnin 10psi. Would that put more strain on the turbo, as theres no bov in action. Im sure your thinkin ohh no not another bov thread, but jsut from experience what would the likely conclusion be with a setup like that. He said the car was stock apart from boost, 3" turboback and fmic. THanks heaps guys much appreciated.

  12. Hey guys, i have no use for my standard ic anymore as i have upgraded to a hybrid. Intercoolers in good condition comes with all piping obviously. Located in northern suburbs melb, pick up only. Looking for around 100 dollar mark. call george 0431252453 We also have some spare parts lying around in the garage for an r33. Tailight, a computer, also might be interested in selling my s1 front bar as im upgrading to a veilside one. Not really on the net much, so give my old man a call.
  13. hey guys i installed the nipple thingy and connected it up, car runs immac now im rapt. Just one more question, my boost gauge now reads 5psi max, i pushed it and it wont go over five, im pretty sure these come out stock bout 7-8 pounds. i dont have an aftermarket boost controlller or anything. Is it normal to lose 2 psi? if i want my boost back up to standard will i have to purchase a bleed valve or boost controller now? thanks heaps
  14. hey guys, sorry if this has been posted before, i recently installed my fmic on my 33. The cars runnin real bad, starting to jerk anything over 3rpm. Never done this before i installed the fmic. When i replaced the top cooler pipe (the one with the nipple) i noticed the new one dsoent have one? however i got some sort of blue pipe in the package? im unsure of where it goes as it says nothing in the instructions? Will that fix the problem? is it necessary to drill a hole in the top ic pipe to weld that little nipple back on? Im 99% sure the cars troubles are due to the fact that at the moment i have a screw blocking of the pipe which connected to the old intercooler top pipe, to prevent the car from having unlimited boost. Obviously i dont no much about my car as yet, but thats my understanding so far, please correct me where im wrong. Thanks heaps guys, any help would be greatly appreciated.

  16. hey guys, like the majority of you, after having my blitz bov for a few weeks, ive began to get really annoyed with that ***tty sound. i was thinking of taking the bov of and runnin the car without one. (dunno what happened to my stock one). would the car still run fine and safe?. ive got a s1 r33gtst with just a turbo back exhaust and a blitz pod on stock boost. would i begin to get that loud fluttering sound if i take it of (not a vl tutut fan). also in the near future im getting a front mount and winding the boost up to 10psi. would i be doin any harm to the turbo runnin on 10psi with no bov at all? is there anything else recommended to upgrade on my car to run 10psi safely all day long. any help would be appreciated

  18. hey guys, unfortunately my timing belt snapped in my skyline s1 r33gtst while driving which caused alot of the valves to cave in and bend. Ive had no luck in finding any valves and im getting desperate (staring at my car in the garage is depressing ). so if anyone has, or knows where i can find valves, (preferably second hand) id be rapt. As their hard to find, il consider buying the actual rb25 head (excluding turbo etc as my bottom is fine) so if anyone has a head or valves, or knows where i can find some (located in melbourne) it would be much appreciated. email me on [email protected] thanks guyz
