hey what is the minimum voltage across a battery when the car is on with no accessories on r32 skyline

check the voltage across the battery with no accessories on it should be over 13 volts you can get it checked at bateryworld. It sounds like maybe your car isn't geting enough voltage since you have changed coils etc checking the voltage will also tell you whether the alternator needs changing

I use motul The litres i used were for a 4wd gts4 r32 motul 8100 excess for the engine about 4.3 litres with filter pick up a ryco z145a or valvolie equivalent motul gear 300 for the box (4.2) and front differential (1.2) motul ff-lsd for the rear lsd (1.6) If your changing oils under car you might aswell change the tranfer case the r32 recommends nissanmatic d

Hey Another possible cause includes the battery voltage. If the voltage drops below a certain level the power steering shuts off and hence hicas light . Go to batteryworld they check the battery under load for free. The battery should be beween 13-14 volts when running no accessories

Anyone heard of kybs from what i understand they are from japan. Anyone have them in their skylines, feedback etc

gear 300 75-90 in the box and lsd ff 75-90 in the rear diff Its great stuff highly recommend it

yea fore sure you should always warm your car up. If its your daily driver let it idle for a minute or so and then drive it off taking it slowly untill the temperature gauge gets off C. If you idle it for more than a minute or so say 5-10 minutes your are wasting time and also causing unnecessary polution. remember the drivetrain needs to get warm too not just the engine!

changed the gearbox and dif oil with motul in my r32 gts4 wow what can i say it has made a great big difference. The gears shift smoothly and the diff is running quiet? motul oil gets a thumbs up from me if anyone needs advice for changing oil post here or pm

Check for leaks from intake hoses. A leak coming from an hole in the intercooler pipe in a r32 casued irratic idling in . Also make sure all clamps are re-tightened

whiteline currently don't have the new coilovers 4's for the r32 skyline anyone know when they are coming out

So with the bilstein do they come adjustable, i have adjustable tanabe at the front and need the rear to be replaced cheers

the viscosity rating for the rear diff in the r32 gtr should be no more than 90 so a 80-140 rating is inappropriate
