  1. I can't help you guys with looking up the numbers, but I can probably steer you in the right direction. The above numbers you've supplied seem to be the Australian VIN number. You'll need to post the details (e.g. chassis no) from the blue build plate on the firewall. (This has already been mentioned a few posts back)
  2. Hmmm, it'd be nice to know whether anyone else has found these anomalies? The colour of the car is midnight purple, which I believe matches the paint code (LP2). The car is a '97 GTR Vspec (finned diff) - series 3 (red stitching, ...).
  3. Hello Whilst looking at skylines I came across the attached build plate. After reading Merli's "I'm buying a Skyline... What should I look for?" thread...and remembering what he said about engraved build plates... I started to wonder if this is what he meant. The NISSAN MOTOR CO, CHASSIS NO, MODEL, Katakana (Colour/Trim, Engine...) and Kanji are all printed, however the actual model numbers are engraved (BCNR33 041940, GGJP..., LP2 K). Nissan Fast returns the following information (thanks BBGTR) BCNR33 041940 GGJPRQFR33ZDAAAP-C Prod. M/Y 9705 Colour: KH3 Int.Color: K Clearly, the model numbers and paint code are different. I've only seen a couple of build plates, however I can only assume that this is an example of a rebirthed car?
  4. Hey guys Could someone please look up BCNR33 041940 Should be a '97 GTR Vspec. TIA.
