Ignition problem sucks. 18 coil packs and finidng out which ones work and dont is even worse. Yeh Jetpower or whatever they are called for testing every single coil pack for me. I have to have atleast 6 that work fine I hope.

If you are good with the computers and the net and have the time send me some maps of the routes you have thougt of. I have no probs with the kays as well hey as you said. 50 or so lines in a row cruising for a cause will be an awsome sight. I believe you can use whereis.com.au to plan trips i think. But if your not keen on figuring out the route then i will gladly help out big fella. Just gotta make sure my car is back and ready for this cruise. and also clean. whatsisname : Your engine bay looks rather tidy. I will be taking my car to Shaun once its all back and running smoothly. I need to sort out the fuel econnomy ( or lack of) and a bit of more loving for my engine. It doesnt help having shit coil packs in missing so much that the raw fuel just goes out the exhaust. 127km at 1/2 tank. This is from filling it up on sat morning and driving it maybe 4 times since then.

Well I might need to consider getting some brand new coilpacks. As the ones i got from Kansai Borke down under load at high revs on boost. Im not saying the ones kansai sold me are shit. I believe it might be something else that is causing the coil packs to shit themselves after a while of driving/ thrashing the crap out of my car to see if they are still working or not. To get Splitfire Coilpacks from somewhere in SA they were going to charge me $917 for 6. How about No Scotty. I cant fork out that sort of money for coil packs. I might look into this Perfect Run shop and maybe get the ppl paying for my repairs to concider getting me these

Do you mean the Crank pully assembly. If so i think its a 24mm or 23mm. OK make that a 27mm socket.

Cheers for the help boys. The car is stock so no increase in boost levels. I have been told it could be the fuel pump. And no I haven't even thought of making sure the injectors are clean. That could be the reason as I assume do to something screwing up it was flooding the engine with fuel and due to it missing it would read that more fuel was needed to keep up with something. The injectors and fuel pump will be looked at tomoz hopefully. Dammmmmmm you repairs.

Ok so I have had a slight problem with my car. AGAIN Something happened which i dont want to state but my engine neally cooked. Have replaced spark plugs, coil packs, ignitor and coil loom. Was missing like a mofo before above was replaced. Will idle perfectly fine. gets to about 1500 to 2500 and will miss in this range of RPM. This is under load by the way. Then it will be fine untill i either A: put my foot down and hit boost or B: run fine if i drive like a grandma through the gears. So I ask you all as the SA guys know there shit with there RB's. I need this problem fixed as i am really sick of having my car off the road. The head is fine with perfect compression. My mechanic who did the engine and manual conversion is stumped to find the problem. I have no experience with these engines so please give your advice and let myself be happy for once. LOL I mean honestly who pays 12k for repairs and still cant drive the fudging thing. I really appreciate any advice left.

OK well seen as though i just got back from the g/f's house and about to go to work. I got her some roses. Mums a trainee florist and she got them for free. And some roses chocolates.
