LOL i just replaced my dead RB20det. I think u can get a good cond RB25det for around $3 - 3500 if u know where to look. And yes i think they need to see the car. Car's Back. Now we begin the saving again to get suspenion and fmic and better clutch and rims. This time should go quick as i have 3 months till i am willing to do anything to the engine and g/box.

THE 4 WHORE IS BACK ON THE ROAD. WITH A VELO BUCKET SEAT CALLING SHOTGUN TO DRIVE. I'm still letting the engine wear in a bit as it most likely hasnt been started and run for a while. So nothing to extreme at all for me while im under warranty and the neighbours who did my work can hear me leave and come home anyway. Will be out and about these days now driving the four door. huddy and simon were kicking ass at Mallala on the weekend. Was really good to watch simons entries and huddy's into turn 1. i believe the wheel was rubbing up against the braided line which caused it to split. Correct me if im wrong Matt. Will be out filming on the 10th next month.

Are u talking full kit or just skirts. As the skirts need to be moddified as the rear doors will not be able to open as the 2 dr skirt is made with that bit at the rear. That bit at the rear needs to be cut away and re fibreglassed and the front will fit yes. The front bar is an exact fit as the 2dr and the 4dr fronts are the same. Rear bar is a no no. Completely different with both cars. I'd get a genuine vertex 4dr kit. Or a Origin one. Hope that helps

Yeh Matt, My car isnt a type M. I am getting the type M brakes that came with the front cut machined and put on before the car gets back to me. And yeh the fish oil idea is only an idea. I would prefere to cut the rust out and prime it then paint it a black. But as I said its along way till its finished.

Update on the WIP. Engine is out with auto trans and tailshaft. Found out the inside of the front of my chasis is rusting a bit. not cricket. might need to hit it with an angle grinder and just run it over the area and fish oil it up to prevent the spreading. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Just it on the hoist with a wheel off, not sure why but anywho, and no engine. The Auto g/box assembly. The busted engine with all my good bits i bought for ti a month before it died off. And the new engine. . Its slowly coming together. I need more of the parts off my old engine to start getting out of my hair. I need it all gone as Dad doesnt want the engine out the back collecting dust and making his backyard a dump.

I have a Velo Fixed back bucket seat with home made fixed rails. I am a short ass and have run out of room on the rails so i need to get proper rails for my seat. Is there anywhere in Aus that makes Genuine rials for VELO. I have rung around and ppl are saying no. So then my next question is would other brand rails fit my seat? This is a pic of the bracket that came with the seat. Please let me know what others have done. I need the rail asap as no one can drive my car besides me and thats not good when the g/f drives my 4dr sometimes

Is it possible to get GTR seat belts for the rear and just use them? I would prefer to know that my passengers are lovked down tight then having problems finding the seat belts. I am thinking of doing this as well. But if the seat belts are to short on the 32 4dr i might reconsidor it.

Ok so this is the front cut that was sourced for me. Interior wise its shithouse. Excuse the French. Full 100k service has been done. . The way its coming along it might take a little longer then planned. But due to it being a full front cut i got type M brakes with it. YAY. If anyone wants parts off it let me know. Joel already has dibbes on the auto trans.

Shit a brick. I drive to this intersection everyday. I saw the marks last week and was terrified as to how far the marks do for. im really glad ur safe and sound. I am also hoping the others in the accident are ok too.
