  1. Hey all, I have a RmR30 Nissan Skyline 5d hatchback, 6cyl, sunroof, 5spd manual, 5 new tyres. Runs really good, has new battery, in good condition, has a minor dent on rear, minimum rust. I am just wondering how much would a car like this sell for?? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks Adam
  2. Hey Everyone, I'm currently doing everything I can to my R30, so it's up to scratch for Road Worthy. Anyway, the pump that pumps the water to wash the windscreen does not work, and where I live the R30 is considered to be very very rare. Would another car's pump fit into its place?? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks Adam
  3. Ohh.... Thanks for clearing up that little misinterpretation of mine..... Makes things a lot easier.. Adam
  4. Hey, In another thread of mine, some people suggested to buy a VL TURBO PUMP, as the nissan ones were to $$$. Does anyone know if there is a difference between a TURBO pump and a normal pump? As I can't really find any turbo ones...... My car is controlled by an EFI.... Thanks Adam
  5. Hey Guys, Found out the problem. Had a mate comeover, after scratching our heads for a while :bonk: , we decided to place the pump right near the motor. Anyway it turned out to work. The fuel pump is working, but does not have enough pressure to reach the engine. So have to buy a new fuel pump...... ADAM
  6. Hey everyone, Just recently had the fuel pump fixed in my R30. Thought all the problems would be over. When the pump was not connected to the fuel line, it pumped out petrol. When it is attached to the fuel line it still pumps, but nothing seems to get to the engine. You can see the petrol in the fuel line, just before the fuel filter. I took the filter out, and you can blow through it. What would this be? I don't know much, but it kinda sounds like the pressure isnt big enough or something. If anyone knows or has had this problem, I would be happy to hear about it. Thanks Adam
  7. Hey everyone, Lately i have had trouble with my cars fuel pump. 1982 NISSAN SKYLINE R30. I have read on the net about all the possible problems, relay, pump...etc. But does anybody know if my car has a fuel cutoff switch (inertia switch) and where it is? Thanks adam
  8. thanks stu_r30, will have to try that.. Let yas know how it goes...
  9. Hey everyone, First time user, so be nice..lol I have a R30 that sat in the backyard for a few months. I was waiting to get my liscence. Anyway, I wanted to see if she would start first go, so I got petrol for her and a new battery and she started first go. woo-hoo. On the day I went to go for a roadworthy test to get registered, she did not start at all. A mate of mine checked the battery, oil, petrol 1/4 tank, spark plugs, etc. Nothing wrong  . The only thing that I noticed that was not the same, was the hummming from the back. Now I have no idea where the pump is located in this car, is it in the tank, or outside of the tank. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
