  1. I have some 355mm rotors on CSC calipers and the R34 rims clear them no problems. I have CE28s now as well and they have pretty much the same clearance as TE37s. The R34 rims do have less clearance though than the CE28's or the TE37's as the Ray's rims will take up to 380mm rotors. The R34 rim clearance issue relates to internal diameter only, they have heaps of lateral clearance.
  2. 1.21.5 on the last lap of that vid. Wasn't taking any chances.
  3. Thanks Archie, did you pull the pin as I saw you on the entry list? I managed to wipe 3 tenths off my PB, but I was slow through turn one and coming on to the front straight because of a lack of grip. The 19 will come.........................eventually.
  4. Here's some footage of my fastest lap with my new GoPro camera. The Audio is better than I thought, although I needed to drill holes in the waterproof casing to let some noise in. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" />
  5. New Pb for me at Sandown today - 1.21.5 and on a damp track - very happy with the "Mark and Duncan ATTESSA controller" - first time I've really used it in the wet on the track and it works a treat on the "6" setting.
  6. downloaded in 7 minutes. Thanks iinet - ADSL2 rocks!!
  7. Yeah, it didn't work last night. If people are desparate I can email it to them.
  8. It appears when the board moved to a new host, all the attachments died. I'll upload another copy when I get home from work.
  9. I have just got a Hero camera and will be using it for the first time at Sandown on the 31st of August. My only issue with them so far is that there is a bit of play in the mounting when it slides into the quick release base. I'm trying it tomorrow to see how much it impacts the footage with vibration, however a little bit of rubber packing should fix that. Apart from that, it's a great bit of kit. Regards Andrew
  10. All the best - time to get the car on the track again...
  11. "premium100 is currently only available in Albury & Bayswater in Victoria. " Bah, it was so handy when it was 10 minutes drive away. Why Albury????? I reckon a re-tune would be needed as it would run leaner given the 3.55% oxygen content, not to mention specific gravity differences (fuel mass etc)..... At least its going to be next year before we need to worry.
  12. Really? Bitchin' - I had visions of becoming a Sunoco dealer.... What's it called - all I can find on United's web page is something called Boost98
  13. That's my guess, will need to retune for 98 RON and see what happens.

  15. [ferris bueller voice on] OOOOHHHHHH YEEEAAAHHHHHH [/ferris bueller voice off] Definitely interested. When is the best time of year (when it's not raining obviously) - I've put some sock money away as I can't drive a 997 GT3 for my 40th this year like I planned god dammit. Doing this is one of those things on my "do it before I kark it" list.
  16. Small change to my time if all fastest sectors were added up. I'm encouraged as I was down about 5-10 kph in top speed, only did about half the day and the slow traffic was a nightmare. Jesus it's frustrating though . Datalog attached.
  17. Doh, progess can be a bitch sometimes. Jack, the gremlin I've got is I keep eating front right tyres for some reason. I had the front right delaminate on the inside edge on Saturday after the second timed session. It was only 3 meetings old and this is the second time it's happened. Would have been a 1.47 for sure as the track was getting faster during the day. Ask Ant, he's rapt with his time on the last session! As per my avatar, if I put all my fastest track sectors for the day together it would have been a 1.47.6, some I'm as inconsistent as ever
  18. new Phillip Island PB for me. 1.48.03 Roy, after you sober up fro Superlap, time to update the ladders. See my sig below.
  19. I would have thought that at 10.5 inch width you need a +18 offset to make it fit on an R33.
  20. What model is the GT-R (R32, R33, R34)? What is the size of your rims? What is the offset of your rims?
  21. Nice work guys. Be good to have you at all our events!
  22. FYI Next Year's WRX Club calendar will looking something like this... 2 Sandown 2 Winton 1 DECA 1 hillclimb 1 Phillip Island
  23. FYI - more info on Calder.... Total cost including other incidentals is about $19,000. On average at the last event at Calder there were between 50 and 60 cars. $19,000 / 55 = $345. Therefore , so about $350. Also they were told there was not guarentee that the long track would be available due to current construction works. Speaking to the timing guys, three other clubs have also cancelled Calder due to cost. To make it worth while running they would need about 110 people at $175 each. You would never get this at Calder. Not only that the supp regs only allow for 90 and 110 would not be value for money in terms of track time.
