  1. Update following release of PIARC Times: 1.48.55 Regards Andrew
  2. Times are up on the PIARC website.................. and I went faster in the 4 th session WOOOO HOOOO 1.48.55 http://www.piarc.com.au/files/Provisional%...%20Feb%2008.pdf
  3. Firstly, this is one of the better viral marketing campaigns I've seen, onya Benno! Secondly, and this is close to my heart and for that matter my wallet, how does one get rid of the heat that this engine would generate on the track. My measly 350kw is sending my water temps into the oh shit zone after 3 laps on a 28 degreee day.... How the hell did Gibson and the boys do it for 1,000 k's.
  4. Damn it, I knew I shouldn't have put that $30k in the market.....
  5. Roy, 1.48.79 for me for P.I. Regards Andrew
  6. You are nearly right, I kicked the clutch and struck a pose
  7. Yeah, apparently this guy was there: Luke at [email protected] - he sent me 5 other shots that were really good. I'm getting them in hi-res (for a price )
  8. tee hee - and the number is?
  9. Not sure, I only have the Water Temp and Knock on my display in the car when on the track. It wipes the max when I turn the car off. In general the PFC reads about 3-5 k's higher on those freeway speed checks. Hey, I got a photo sent to me just then - not as big a flame as yours though!!
  10. Race Technology DL1 - you can get them from Meridian M/Sport. About $1,500 I think. Great for lap time improvements.
  11. That is a sensational photo - straight to the pool room. We had 24 cars per group - 4 * Groups of 6. Our group was prob ok, but the other groups that went out with us were all over the place, so it was as snowy said, basically just overtaking for the first 3 sessions until the groups started to thin out. Here is my data log for session 3. I have no idea what time we did after this as I didn't turn my logger on and the PIARC timing said I did a 1.40.XX three laps in a row
  12. Was a good day today, very hot and huge amounts of slow traffic in our group in the morning sessions. Both Anthony and I had an incident free day, and both had PB's from what I can tell, the PIARC timing screwed up the last 3 sessions, so all I can see was a 1.48.8 for me and we think a 1.50 for Anthony. Roll on March 29. ps. Looking forward to seeing the video footage of today Anthony!
  13. Well done Fernster, I had a little birdy talking to me throughout the day and was given the news. I keep telling my wife that this is all a bit of fun, but these times are getting serious. By the way, I have driven my car to work nearly every day since my engine rebuild Looks funny getting out in a suit with the roll cage, get some weird looks. AA
  14. You're not wrong, if I wasn't such an electrical wiring gumby it would be in by now
  15. Cool, I've been umming and arring about one of those for 12 months and ended up grabbing the very last one that Duncan had. Just got to gather up the courage to rip my virgin dash trim apart and cut and join a few wires. Cheers AA
  16. Ah ok - transfer case - a great mod. I have got one of those attessa controllers to put in after P.I., be interesting to see how the two mods interact. All I have to do now is try and keep the engine temp under control for 4 flying laps - no mean feat this time of year. Regards Andrew
  17. Oh yeah, how much mumbo did it make?
  18. Arch, you're flying - I can say it's a great set up. We are now officially mechanically even. Should be good head to head. Regards Andrew
  19. Wheels have arrived, it's all good -
  20. Thanks
  21. Yep. I'm in for the garage.
  22. Yes, I am 99% sure I'll be there. I'm sitting at home at the moment waiting for my wheels, they are meant to be delivered this morning, and then it's down to donnellans to get the tyres fitted. Man, Rays rims take forever I hope they are worth it. I'll let you know if it all goes pear shaped. Really looking forward to it.
  23. I had literally only got the engine back from a 2.2 Ltr race build so I'll never really know. I did a 24.9 that day, but it wasn't stretched. The GT-R has been faster at all tracks, even my standard spec was basically flatt 22's. Be interesting there next time with new engine/suspension.
  24. I remmeber that day as well, but for a very different reason
