  1. Funny you say about additives as not many people use them but i run the Morey's Oil Stabilizer. Best thing since sliced bread! I ran the liqui moly and it blew the seals in my 3037 within 10mins or running it. Didnt get the car out of the driveway

  4. sounds like its running rich, but firstly i would be looking at the basic things like plugs, coil packs, AFM? these are the likely things to give the issue you are describing.
  5. exactly! nismo ftw but yeah for streatablity nismo is said to be like a standard clutch, i have a tilton in mine and its a pig! gotta drop it at every set of lights haha good luck with the build. got a members ride thread?
  6. will def need a twin plate for the power and if its a streeter then nismo is one of the best for driveability! Alot of people on here are using them and recommend them
  7. sounds good do you have any pics? do they have a nipple on the top? details?
  8. yeah def the wastegate not opening fully or at all....as above fouling on the dump pipe or needs to be adjusted on the turbo! have you tried/checked the nut on the shaft of the gate? can you move it by hand?

  13. synchronus charging? Compound charging? as apposed to a normal twin charging..has been done before, tho this is a waste of time in this situation specially with these 2 turbos.. build something like this in stead
  14. no all on the passenger side as you are only replacing the main engine loom. Few changes on the plugs to get the dash etc to work properly
  15. interesting....could be due to lack of oil change as E85 breaks down the oil pretty quick due to moisture etc etc but honestly havent read of any adverse affects of this..

  17. first things first is call the OSR (similar to SDRO here in nsw) they will hold the fines and start investigating for you. also call the QLD ombudsman for police (yes they have one) and start the ball rolling that way too ive been through a similar thing with defects (on an engineered vechile) so stand up and know what your rights are and you will be fine
  18. yeah he completely farked you.....take it to them man as they have no right in that situation specially if you have a permit to drive! further to that it is LEGAL for you to drive to a registered mechanic in this instance aslong as it is your nearest (in this case im assuming it was being that you are away from home) what state are we talking about? edit **never mind see its in qld

  20. with the greddy its virtually its own overflow so if it does blow through it goes straight back into the swirl pot... the other way i have seen it done is remove the rad cap (or dont have one) so that pipe actually becomes part of the cooling system so its a constant flow of coolant from that top port of rad to the swirl pot

  22. Roy i have a GREDDY and well worth the stuffing around to get it running.... i removed my overflow bottle completely and run the breather from rad straight to the top inlet on the swirl pot. Bottom outlet goes down towards the heater section 2 side mounts are on on the top of plenum and bottom of plenum. i can get some pics if you want as im running plazmaman aswell
