  1. lodge a fraud complaint with the police?
  2. im going to be running a map sensor so whats the deal with that?
  3. Yeah thats the bugger. Can i run a small filter into it, or is it simply best to just plumb it into the intercooler piping? Cheers
  4. It is reccomended to do so as the new master has a higher flow capacity. Eg the old system was feeding 6 pistons, now your feeding 12
  5. Just finishing off the intercooler piping for my rb30 and noticed i have forgotten to add in a piece for this pipe. (in pic) Not 100% what it does but its a breather of some sort. Can you please tell me what it does for starters, and whether its 100% essential to have this routed into the intercooler piping? This isnt a pic of my setup, rather one recycled from here, so thanks for the pic Have put a pic of my cooler pipes for interests sake.
  6. Yeah it seems interesting considering its a mineral based oil with a synthetic additive. What sort of comments are the gtr guys saying about the stuff? I can score it for $35NZ for 5 litres so if its good stuff i can change my oil more often. Cheers
  7. I agree with this. You're a complete tool. Your opinions are so bias that you shouldnt have even bothered starting this thread. All it constitutes is you rambling on having a go at everyone elses opinion which is what you originally asked for. Your uneducated dribble is also painful to read. Perhaps you should learn how to spell then learn some punctuation while you're at it. Im a keen fan of the rb30 but wont bother posting an opinion as this thread is ruined already. If you were on the forums that I admin you would have a stupid tag or be on the banned list by now. On a lighter note, i was in the workshop when the black gtr was being tuned. The workmanship is top notch.
  8. someone here must know?
  9. Im just interested on the opinions of those who have used the Brad Penn Green Oils (The old Kendalls stuff). Ive heard some really great things about this and negative comments about running a fully synthetic oils. Apparently it is very common in dragracing circles. Any experiences and facts would be great as its a great price and the reputation of it is pretty good. Cheers
  10. head bolts on straight up and the only way is to get an inlet manifold from japan for about 80 bucks. the rb20 ones are smaller been there done that
  11. Nice to see your lines have come up looking so sharp even with you changing the water to the front Shaun. Was a bit of a drama we went through before coming to that conclusion. Cheers
  12. i got mine incredibly cheap from www.staparts.co.nz
  13. In my opinion there is no point in routing the hot water from the turbo right around and back into the engine again. ive done mine similar to what the gtr's do standard.
  14. at what point would you think of changing the throttle body Gary? im going for around 360rwkws on a 30/25 with 3540r Cheers
  15. Im finishing off my Laufiro with rb30det at the moment and now am at the stage where i need to get it certified (im in NZ). Im going to fail badly due to my crap breaking setup. I can get a setup from an r32 or r33 skyline reasonably cheap, however while im at it id also like to do a 5 stud conversion. I know the s14/s15 hubs work but they are selling for around 400NZD a pair. Ive also been told C35 laurel hubs fit. What have you guys done setup wise? Thanks
  16. pavel did you end up putting up pics after this marathon effort? cheers
  17. seems a bit expensive. email rob at rips www.ripsltd.com and see what sort of price he can do it for
  18. does it really matter what an old thread is about, if the same topic is of use to someone else?
  19. cheapest way is to run the piping like this. excuse the tape and excessive joiners (hasnt been welded yet)
  20. digging up an old threads never particularly popular but i used the search function. are there any more opinions on this? eg someone who found their piping a restriction over a certain hp level. My thinking is why buy a bigger throttle body when your piping is 65 or 70mms?
  21. you have cam gears anyway so i couldnt worry. i think the idea was the timing was slightly out due to the belt(not sure however)
  22. ring performancesprings in queensland. he did mine and is a great bloke to deal with allen waye is his name
  23. your in nz dude arent you? whos the tuner? might be able to help you out with a manifold/gate setup to try sometime
  24. the gates and bosch belts are absolutely identical. i brought the gates one first for my conversion, then forgot i had it and brought the bosch one. lined them up next to one another and they are the same
  25. will be interested to see how you get along shaun as im going to be facing the same problem soon. my car doesnt have sound deadening so it will be much worse no doubt
