  1. Who is going to tune/install it?
  2. I am guessing its because they are open all weekend and need a day off
  3. They are pretty good as long as your ECU is current, which yours is, so you will be ok!
  4. this forum is pissing me off no end, that last post took about 6 goes to actually post up
  5. I read a review recently that said it was kinda sad, depends on the reviewer I suppose. In any case its about 60k more than I want to spend on a daily, and a 6, and doesnt run on 91 and it has a french engine. So many no's.
  6. I love them, had a friend with one that was awesome green and made 150rwkw, was a beast! toooooooooooooooooo many monies, also I am pretty sure it sux at off road, like worse than other SUVs
  7. Oh sorry yeah its the gayest, then the varietta
  8. The Mazda is almost perfect, just lacks the clearance for camping and getting to the farm. To get to the farm in the Mazda I have to go the long way, adds a bit over an hour to the trip!
  9. Too low, too thirsty.
  10. and by suitable I meant cars of a reasonable price with decent ks on them
  11. Annas work, going out to the farm, camping, around town duties. Looking at a Forrester Ideally, maybe a Grand Vitara.
  12. Shouldn't have gone on car sales. Many suitable cars available, no funds available. FML
  13. Yes the whole bottle is probably a few too many
  14. Its a pretty rare occasion when someone knows what I am on about.
  15. if its so f**king simple why dont all of our engines do it!? ha ha
  16. Nice one mate!
  17. Thts one thing the LS does right actually, using the flywheel to calculate the crank position is a very solid idea.
  18. Every time! Using exhaust gas (wasted energy) to make positive manifold pressure!? Efficiency orgasm. Now all i need is an ecu that allows me to lose the dumbass crank sensing set up Nissan lumped us with.
  19. Toyota realised early on that V8s are best served pushing lounge chairs and saved the turbos for sports cars. GM has sadly never realised this And whats this mine Sh!t! I am not silly enough to bother with either of them
  20. So am I. Well kind of, Lived on a farm near to Gatton, Went to boarding School so only really knew a few people there. Because they didnt need to to meet their design objectives. For example 1uz vs LS1 since thats been the theme for the day. 1uz was designed to power luxo barges, refinement and efficiency were expected, LS1 were designed to power farm equipment with minimal fuss, with no f**ks given about efficiency and refinement . Both engines hit thier design breifs, happy days
  21. Surely its an Ecotech.
  22. I didnt say it was worse because it was bigger, its worse because it is a truck engine with its design roots in 1955. and 1uzfe can and will match a LS1 more or less mod for mod, because of the magical concept of efficiency that you don't seem to grasp. My brothers 1uzfe made 205ish rwkw with an exhaust and flash tune. I am not doubting that a LS1 can make power, its just they are crude as f**k and I appreciate a good ole engineering feat. Good tanty though! Made my morning interesting.
  23. Don't confuse him with big words!
  24. Yes factory power figures are how you decide what a good engine is.
