  1. bloody dear for what it is
  2. If you didn't want anyone to worry you shouldn't have said anything!
  3. Oh yeah I remember you saying that. At least mine was because of mad profit making that year and not an accounting mishap!
  4. I got an 18k bill once. That was pretty upsetting lol
  5. I will. I have not done mine for a few years :s
  6. I would be stoked to get 500 bucks back
  7. Bronze or black ones look good on white. Just not as good as the 1/2s
  8. I like them best on all other models of skyline.
  9. I will be super jelly. On account of my tax bill and your new wheels
  10. gotcha. I heart the 2's. They suit the 32 so well. Perfect era correct wheel
  11. we have to do this every month. It's painful
  12. what's the difference between them? They are very similar right? I have always wanted them
  13. hopefully its nothing too formal. User testimonials shouldn't be hard. Everyone loves it.
  14. I could almost be tempted at that price!
  15. No worries! Mercury are selling Haltechs really cheap at the moment $2000 installed and tuned. I would get it from them, get them to install it, put a base map in it then take it where you please to get tuned.
  16. What ever you can get for the best price I reckon, Wolf, Haltech (aside from my personal vendetta) Adaptronic, Vipec, Motec ect are all top line ECUs and will do the job. Infact Haltech CLAIM that their ECU handles the timing Jitter issue better than the others, and there appears to be some evidence supporting it. Perhaps you could give Haltech a go (cant beleive I said that) on the normal CAS and if you experience an issue go to the crank trigger?
  17. Just got a invite to a meeting, The Director General of the Department, the Executive Directors of the 4 regions in the state....and me, and I have to demonstrate to them why the Ipads are good. Bit of Friday fun :S
  18. Ross make a kit, MSD do, you can get slots machined into your harminic balancer, lots of options! You need a ECU that can accept a crank trigger sensor input, but thats pretty much anything other than a power FC lol
  19. the problem we encounter with Nissans in general is the CAS location and the fact that it is very high resiloution. It uses the camshaft to determine the position of the crank. The timing belt flexes as you load it up. With the high resolution of the nissan trigger disc any flexing of the timing belt results in CAS signal fluctuations hence making your timing all over the place some times shifts of up to 8 degrees! So in order to get the car running safely you have to account for these fluctuations and end up with a car that is no where near where its timing limits in case the timing jitters effectively advance the timing past the point where you will get pinging (like mine does). To solve this issue you can run a crank trigger, so instead of trying to read the cranks position off the camshaft, which introduces variables like the ones mentioned above, you read the cranks position directly off the crank, much less room for error and a much more robust set up. With the crank position signal so steady you can really tune the piss out of it as you know the whole basis of the tune is rock solid.
  20. Hey Antz, Just read your build thread, I think you really need to consider going to a crank trigger set up too. Thats a lot of engine to entrust to potentially dodgy CAS signals! So maybe the delay is good, because it will give you a chance to sort it out before it all goes back together!
  21. My Boss is away on secondment, I never realised how counter productive he is until he was gone. We are like a well oiled machine now!
  22. Yeah, the ross one uses 12 and many of the others use 24. I am not, however spending the 2k some people are quoting to set it up :S waiting on a cost for Noels set up and will go from there.
  23. Thats highly debatable
  24. A VL is pretty much a R31 so maybe it is that dodgy
