  1. Dan Will probably refer you to EFI as they have better diagnostic equipment and specialise in this type of issue
  2. I have had a similar problem on 2 occasions 1) it was an air leak, check all your piping 2) dead airflow meter and busted wiring to the AFM Cant promise your case is the same but it would be worth checking out
  3. ^^ lol WTF haha Anyway I rann 14psi on mine.....and it eventually snapped the shaft so i would be keeping it at around 12psi too, it starts to make more het than power after then anyway as it is well and truly starting to run out of puff

    Fuel Pump Woes

They got the wiring thing right most times when you go to a bigger pump they need to be wired as your tuners there describe
  5. I will have to agree to disagree with you, pretty much every one i know who doesnt know has seen a R35 has been impressed by it, they dont even care or even realise half the time that its a Nissan! And people who do know cars will know that a GTR is worth just as much as a 360 so they wont perfer one over the other either! But thats just the way i see it!
  6. Sorry for some reason cant quote Tom I see your point, I would expect a nice car at the airport...but by the same token i wouldnt care if it was a GTR or a Ferrari infact i would see that as kinda stupid. Both dont make great airport pick up mobiles! I would also rather see someone putting that money back into thier company if i was to invest into it! By the same token i do agree that a 5 year old commodore isnt good either! As for the car being an idicator of success....well I know very wealthy people who do indeed own a fancy car ect....but i also know many more who put that money into the share market or houses. My brother in law is a good example, He owns a new V8 calais, he uses it for work (investment banker) that wouldnt impress some people but im guessing that when they saw his 2million dollar home that he ows nothing on the might change thier minds. Where as the guy driving whatever exotic it may be could be renting an apartment somwhere, who knows! Anyway what im really trying to say is that i dont necessarily think the guy with the better car will always get the deal as you said, Depending on the person it could go either way. So many people i know would even maybe lean the other way because of the negative image it may portyay, Ie flippant with money, thinks they are awesome ect ect. Birds i wasnt doing the construction contracts it was to do with Environmental approvals and monitoring, so nothing to do with the construction at all really!
  7. I didnt think he was above me, after all he was the one begging me to give him just over a million dollars worth of work! My concern was that he was all style and no substance, despite the fact that he said all the right things. If i had people working for me that are impressed by cheap tricks like that i would be sorely dissapointed...and ensure that they never got to handle appointing consultants alone again.
  8. but now we are getting pretty offtopic so i digress!
  9. The reason i didnt give it to him was that he looked exactly like some one who spend every cent he earned and if the contract did fall through we wouldnt have gotten a cent from him because he probably owned nothing. The other guy looked more circumspect they both offered almost exactly the same thing...but i actually belived the other guy would deliver on his proposal. Im also a beliver that if they really are as good as they say they wont need to make a big show and dance to 'lure' me in, It may just be me but anyone that takes the look at me approach feels like they have somthing to hide.
  10. I had to award a large contract for consulting on a major road project earlier in the year. One guy did the power lunch thing, turned up in his Maserati, paid for an expensive lunch and just came off as a massive douche that likes to waste money before i had even spoken to him. They guy that got the job was actually slightly more expensive but was more about the job than trying to make himself look good, i would hate to think anyone based giving work on the basis of the car that someone drove and the show that someone put on, no one i know does and most would be inclined to steer away from the guy posing in his super car, but apparently it happens :S Also i have lots of friends that know nothing about cars...and even they recognise that the GTR is not some lowly priced Nissan when they see one drive past
  11. We moved Annas SR20 in the back of a toyota starlet, Lightness ftw, no engine crane needed ha ha
  12. we wont lose, we will be sweet only 27 overs to go
  13. As soon as i got to a school that played it I did!
  14. why would i watch Soccer, that just sounds like a silly thing to do!
  15. Colon playing football (SOCCER) and calling other fags is a little rich. Mind you dont get kicked in you padded shin now we would want you to have to thrash around on the ground in agony tHough at this stage i should admit i played soccer until i went to High School, its my secret shame
  16. and i had a writing fail before, I meant go for the draw as soon as ponting got out instead i wrote straight away :S
  17. Odds of Watson Getting dropped....slim he would be averaging somwhere in the 50s since opening wouldnt he? and Hughes has not been setting the world on fire in the shield
  18. 330 was a big ask, im surprised we didnt start playing for the draw straight away If they were not i would have bought in Haddin after Ponting, then Johnson (when he scores its quick!) Then after that Clarke who could either keep it going or play for the draw with North and Hussey depending on the position they found them selves in
  19. ooops misread fail! I would say yes but I am so bad at indoor which is wierd because i was always good at outdoor! I think that gay yellow ball is the issue, swinging all over the fekking place ha ha Watto out for 96 and 48 in one match! he is probably thinking FML right about now
  20. yeh the pitch is taking a fair bit of turn....and the delivery that got ponting out seamed back in from about 4 feet outside off and ended up cramping him for room on a square drive...that was pretty nasty and mostly pitch related!
  21. its getting tought out there in the cricket, even ponting was starting to score quite slowly The stagne thing about Watson is that he is one of the best hitters i have ever seen, I was in the same team as him at school and from then even into his early career he could hit with the best of them and even in one dayers his strike rate is quite good....but it seems in tests he gets almost anxious about occupying the crease and lock up the attacking shots, if he played his natural game he would be lots better off
