  1. who owns this!? wow
  2. Now i am being serious here...why couldnt there be a 'meet' at the track days? Plenty of parking its free to get in plenty to look at and beleive it or not..when you go you get plenty of chance to look at a car up close discuss it with the owner then see what its got i believe mountain runner was talking about a "show and shine" at his july 8 track day I know this isnt a full time alternative to the BWCP but on a semi regular basis im sure it could be fun for cruisers and track people alike
  3. agreed there is plenty of car park meets over there, they would know all the good spots
  4. seeing it in a car park is marginally educational.......seeing it drive is another thing all together
  5. ha ha im gald they make both products cause once you make a bum power figure you need a bum timer to give you times that match the power!
  6. you were there! It was the drive from our place over to hogs breath at indro
  7. what sort of suspension does it have?
  8. oh snap actually now that i think back that trip to that particular dinner was one of the most fun outings ever ha ha
  9. Thats arguable and yes verbal sparring makes the world go round on Topic....what about somwhere like carrara stadium or what ever it is called these days, it would have lots of parking, and isnt used that much anymore....they might have locked gates though, along the same lines the carpark at QE2 on mains road is pretty big and i am sure the gates are not closed ever because they allow students at Griffith to park there so they would probably be open tp discusions about using it
  10. I agree totally, but got his power level im not sure if the 25 would be that much better for the cost ,plus im not sure how good a $300 RB25 would be :S
  11. im pretty sure i left the exact line in question and left out the rest and how can i be "wrong again" in my first post in the tread?
  12. oh wow he even has the GTR owner superior attitude we are on to a winner here *goes back to the website not populated by oxygen thieves I think i can guess
  13. yeah i owned on for a while...and as far as i was concerned it was all pros! but i guess depending on your power goal a con could be that you may spend more money for a similar power level eg if you are chasing anything under 250rwkw you can do it on a RB20 while being still relatively responsive and save money by not having to do the swap, if you want over 250rwkw the extra capacity wil help get higer power with out getting too laggy
  14. that stuff rocks the shit!
  15. im going to an open day in October (maybe in the sil80 maybe in my next car) im sure we could gather a small crew up for that if we gave them a few months notice! It wont be as good as an official SAU day but with a bit of company im sure we could make it pretty good!
  16. but it is a personal choice, with enough effort you can make either engine anything you want
  17. look carefully at the graph, an RB30 might match the response, but probably wouldnt be any better
  18. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...35#entry3942035 dont discount 25s this one does the job nicely
  19. oh yeah that too! "oh yay i spun again, spinning is the best bit" crazy little mofo If all goes to plan i think i will be making a trip to an open day some time in october
  20. the last day i drove at wakie will be 2 years in November, its 2 years since that first time we came down and spectated thats was the day of the Liz V Ando bet and the time the power went out and the time Daves tyre came off the rim on the way home and.....*wipes a nostalgic tear*
  21. the eventual plan is for a stroker too but we are taking baby steps at the moment! hopefully we will be ther for the next SAU official track day.....but i have been saying that for the last 2 years!
  22. Nah it isnt rebuilt, but it doesnt really need to be either it is pretty mild, not much to look at either its just a white R33 with white advans that are horrible! But that is easy fixed Its not going yet we are going to go and grab the engine this weekend, the engine is rebuilt and everything but it will be running a stock turbo for now, later in the year it will be getting a 3071R so it should be good!
  23. i have one R33 up here that i am pretty keen on amd Mansoors is defineatley up for further consideration
  24. keeping my options open GTR, EVO, chaser, FD RX7 cant make my mind up GTR is probably in the lead at the moment though
  25. not to mentoin the lack of ability to flush to toilets due to it being a pressure pump system good times ha ha
