  1. im letting that go to the keeper ha ha
  2. never speak ill of the one and only
  3. yeah i guess big was a poor choice of word...noticible was more what i was thinking!
  4. nice result then! so looks like the days of big gains from a replacement exhaust are gone!
  5. so just to confirm, this result was from the computer alone? everything else was stock?
  6. Monkeybong creek, when i encountered it through work i loled
  7. I had a AX53B70 P25 on my 25 and made 20psi by 3000rpm and 253rwkw my tuner often commented it was the most responsive turbo he had ever tuned , i would try it but check the exhaust housing around the wastegate hole, they can sometimes crack there
  8. but sunny bank has sushi next door
  9. interesting....you are the 3rd stock turboed car i have heard of to make that exact number at APC...interesting
  10. +1 they are awesome have had several sets from them so far and no problems
  11. knowing Mick the bill will be nothing like what it would have been at other places
  12. a GTRS might be expensive...the garrett version is less so and may be cheaper in the long run tha replacing several cheap turbos ofver the coming years
  13. holy crap way to bring one back from the dead
  14. its a really hard question to answer hey, I had a good tune from Allstar but there are plenty here who have had bed experiences, same with Mercury! The guy above had good experiences but in some circles they are the most maligned work shop you could imagine.
  15. if that is the case you might not have to go ack to standard...you could probably wire up a seperate light kinda like a shift light or somthing..my r32 used to flash the check engine....but it was a GTST so that probably does not help you sorry
  16. he is talking in engine kilowatts
  17. you could unplug a coil pack or 2.....would sound like a WRX, might lose some power under 3000rpm though! But if you keep your stock exhaust and just ad a $30 tip from super cheap this should more than make up for it and would give the sound you are looking for
  18. ha ha sorry! They wouldnt be the first workshop to make that same mistake (the one i went to told me to change injectors too) so dont worry too much. Just next time you are there mention you might think it is the pump and not the injectors and see how they respond, im sure it will be one of those 'why didnt I think of that' moments and everyting will be sweet
  19. but his awesome tuner would know more than you right
  20. oh so when i tell him the pump is the problem last night no one listens to me *starts cutting* ha ha but yeah it will be the pump for sure i had the same thing happen to me! I used a Bosch 029 after the GTR pump ran ot of flow, good for 700hp
  21. I see Lee in here. That's a chick. Well with the way he sucks at big buck hunter i've always assumed it's a Chick no man could ever be that bad.
  22. I got mine from this man here Elite Racing he was a few hundred dollars less than Slide at the time but i would get a prive from both. water and oil lines can be ordered from the above two guys it did require a small spacer, mine fitted on the manifold...but only by about 1mm so we thought it was best to space it out a little lol. I had a 14psi actuator I had no boost creep at all but if you had a lesser actuator I think you may strike the odd problem
  23. +1 excellent layout, great information, would read this tread again
  24. bah sorry slightly misread your post, disregard the above comment lol
  25. rumour is it was the same ip...there was never two people, unless there is a Jekyl and Hyde deal going on lol
