I think a light tune rb20 would have to be better than a stock rb25 (cause thats the decision that faces many) Regarding response i have a mate who makes 270rwkw on his rb20 R32 using a Garret 3071R and i had a rb25 in mine making 270rwkw using a 3076R and at any rpm my car was able to pull away not by tonnes but it was noticeable! Oh pus i could turn the boost up later and make 300rwkw but he couldnt and would start crying about cheating! So despite the fact i had a bigger turbo my response was still better.

it is always cheaper to but one with mods in place, i am currently looking at GTRs and i am looking at ones with mods and then factoring in a rebuild at some stage, there is a lot of farily well modded ones out there for under 25k, then factor in another 8k or so for a rebulid.. if you do the sums on doing it all from scratch i am sure you will find this is a way cheaper option

stock ones are ceramic on the exhaust side and metal on the intake side...and in the case of r34s and possibly some r33 series 2s (not sure of this) the inlet is nylon! To get steel wheels you will need to go an after market turbo or get the broken one highflowed

yeah thats what i thought, i was hoping mine wasnt some freaky one that wasnt working properly or something ha ha, mine was no louder than the GTR pump i had before it

I had one of these after my GTR pump ran out of flow! Pretty good and i didnt find it that noisy?? How was yours for noise?

the GTR pump should suit your needs, mine didnt run out of flow until i was approaching 270rwkw, it should be the cheapest option too!

I made 300rwk with the same turbo as you at 18psi, it was not safe and some timing was taken out to make a bit over 260rwkw, I think the stock exhaust manifold was an issue but if you are lucky you should make 300rwk especially if you are happy to run a bit towards the 'unsafe' side of things tune wise

I have a pair of fronts only sitting in my garage if that helps at all? You can borrow them for a few days

i personally dont think it will provide enough filtration...look at how dense all other filters are compared to a stocking
