IT was awesome! I cant imagine what it felt like driving that so close to cement barriers! The open wheeler was cool! On the last corner but he had to go heaps slow cause he kept bottoming out over the bump! Would have been god to see a full noise exit from there!

the short answer is it is over 6k a year to have and a further 1k per event..our tracks aren't CAMS affiliated therefore our club would make use of this only rarely. New south wales is in a different boat as all their tracks are CAMS so their members make use of the affiliation several times a year so thier members get value out of that 6k It would be great to have CAMS affiliation but seriously I think out of the 100 odd members we have about 10 of us would actually make use of it to do things like sprints ect..then the other 90 people would be complaining there is no money for anything else!

Yeah mate you need to be a member of a Cams affiliated club to have a CAMS licence Here is an interesting site people http://www.short-circuit-motor-racing.com.au/scmsa_news.htm seems there is a few events like this within a couple of hours of Brisbane

We wont be getting back into Cams licensing....I personally will just join SAU NSW to get my licence

It is an awesome event (sadly alot of the good cars were missing this year) but I am working in Gatton and didnt even get enough notice to get ready in time! Luckily now I know that a guy at my work is one of the organisers so next year I will be putting up a thread for entrants nice and early

All Im saying is don't make it out do be what it isnt...that time nowhere near the record I think it is about 3 seconds faster than that . Im not having a go at you (As seems to be the style around here at the moment) just saying is all as the first post was misleading
