It can be, but thats because I have always been buying secondhand cars, so you want THAT particular car, I guess with new it is easier because you can get exactly the same thing elsewhere.

I am still considering offloading mine. I occasionally get get exited but 90% of the time I couldn't care less and it just sits there undriven. I am no longer interested in track stuff so really it is the wrong car for my interests.

Thats true! It helps that my Grandad was an epic investor. He bought me 10,000 shares in CSL (among other things) when they were $2.44 they hit almost $72 today! Thanks old chap! The only trouble is the epic tax bill that will come when I need to access that money! Almost as bad as camry drivers!

I really wanted to get a Megan racing kit out of the US, but the American guys wouldn't sell to me because they had an Australian distributor and the Australian distributor would sell me any because he wanted to sell me Alcons instead. Very true. I got mine for under 1000 front and rear. Above that and they are not worth it and the China kits would be better.

Yep. If you get the r33 gtr brembos with rotors to suit, stock gtr ones can be fine if in good nick still, it all bolts straight up.

R33 brembos are not the same size as r32 gtr brakes. 325mm vs 296 R33 ones work easier than r34 ones because the bolts are the correct size.

That said bigger is better but if dollars are a concern Brembos will do the job. Especially if the car isn't at the track all the time

With good pads and rotors r33 Brembos will bolt straight on and perform well Pete. Myself and Noel have run them sucessfully at the track.
