I drove around for ages with NSW plates and never got in trouble! I always said I just picked the car up a week ago and they were happy with that....I also got waved through a defect station so maybe the story about the extra paperwrok not being worth thier while is true!

Same! I have been through heaps of RBTs and have never been looked at twice! Once I was pulled up at midnight on a Saturday (Cause it did look like I was trying to avoid them) and all they did was give me the RBT and send me on my way!
