I reckon the louder exhaust note comes from the larger turbo....as it has a larger discharge area?? Cause I changed nothing in the way of exhaust parts when I did my turbo and it came back heaps louder! Anyway that is neither here nor there! Good work Terry looks like it would be a fun drive now! I always love reading other peoples modification stories! I should really write up my story some day! However I think there is a bit more necessary and unexpeceted work to be done before my story is over lol And I hear you on the tyres point Col! All of a sudden I found out my old tyres werent that good!

I run an Apexi AX53B70 P25 on my RB25..the response is better than a RB25 highflow and according to the tuner it would be a good turbo for an RB20..just another one added to the mix for your research

My Nanna lives there...I try to avoid it

I thought it was fixed too! But just today the knocking is back...it misfires underload and on starting it needs a bootfull of throttle or it splutters and dies..it actually starts but it is like it gets starved of fuel and shudders to a stop
