Hey Ryan, If budget is a factor try the manual boost controller!! If you dont like it it is only $35 wasted...I really do urge you to try it first that $800 could go to something more useful...like most of a power FC!!!

Sorry to shit can your idea mate perhaps I should be constructive instead!! I think your best bet would be to get a good brand filter like K&N or Apexi or somthing like that..then use the money saved to buy a length of that 80mm pipe seen in that pic of yours up the top....make a box around the filter....(Black plastic sheeting from bunnings and some silastic) and feed it via that 80mm pipe from in the front bar somwhere!

You want some salt and pepper for those words ross....the car is real and well known.....and a R33 GTR with a few mods equalling a few grand would not run an ET anywhere near this thing In fact I imagine it would be at least 1.5 seconds slower....hope you are hungry cause you have a heap of words to eat, and I hope you like the taste of your own bullshit

Yeah have you seen how badly beatem up FMICS get from rocks/big bugs?? I imagine rocks would perforate that thing in a couple of days if it was in the same places as a FMIC

So Benji the answer is no. Mine spikes more than 2 psi quite often...hence it is being sold with the R33 for extra bling factor..will hopefully pull some young kid in with its sik looks

I used a HKS version of the above...If you can afford it go for it they are heaps easier to fit

What oil cooler kit did you get...I am lookng at one but im not overly keen on the prices!! And apparently the just jap ones leak! May I ask (Genuine question not hasseling you) why did you get the car tuned...then order parts..then get it tuned again in the space of a month??? All mine is going on in one go to save on tuning! HI all....loving the thread I thought I was the only one with this obsession! I just helped my girlfriend finnish a 1:24th model of Impact Blue from Initial D yesterday..I am also building a garage with a hoist and stuff for her to display the car on! I also bought a 1:18th die cast model of a R32 GTR on saturday! It is awesome. It has carpet in the interior and suede type stuff on the seats and door cards, it even has metal brake discs!!! I will go home and post up pics tonight!...awesome collections guys

You assumed wrong. This is the 91 Bathurst where the GTR was the first car to cross the line no ifs no buts in a record time of 6hrs 19 min. The crowd was booing because they are ghey and did not like the fact that the GTR won. The pack of assholes was 92....the GTR also ran at the mountain in 1990 but broke down when in the lead And it is the race record not the lap record that is held by the GTR The 91 GTR ran a 2m 12s lap to get pole Lowndes ran a 2m 8.59 lap for pole last year The 91 GTR would not have been in the top 10 shoot out last year. The main reason it holds the race record is that the rules regarding yellow flags have changed and the safety car has been introduced since that time...all of wich means the GTR will probably hold the race record for a long time to come So there you have it kids, it appears that the oracle of all things on "the all mighty at the famous mountain" could stand to learn a little
