  1. I copped Bogan abuse on my first day of skyline ownership, Get a real car he says as he goes past on his pushbike. I walk over to my car rap the bonnet with my knuckles and say "it is real, see" Then I hop in say "enjoy your ride home" and burn off, my mate was wetting himself with laughter in the passengers set and the bogan was left on the footpath with a puzzled angry look on his face, that is my fondest skyline memory to this day!!
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=55845 In this topic there is a RB25 runnung one of these(Near the end) Quite an interesting result! Ps that is Bargin! I was looking at one of these too!
  3. I thought that it should be higher when cold as the oil is more viscous when cold and harder to push, then as it gets up operating temp the viscosity get lower so easier to push, then at idle the oil pump isnt pumping much so the preasure drops...my car does the same thing so these are my assumptions, feel free to correct me
  4. Happy Birthday Babs!! Welcome to the old club
  5. Sounds good! Will get one for sure!
  6. Can I ask...why turbo first??? Why not intercooler, boost, full exhaust, computer....get used to that, then new turbo??? Or is the stock turbo buggered?
  7. Good choice of tip Tommo, Just like mine! Every man and their excel has cannons these days, sort of turned me off them. Nice vids too
  8. Nice. Looks like it has some power!
  9. That would be nice....but isnt it like the new GTR only with a different body?? Being 4wd and a v8?? Hmmm will be interesting to see if it makes it into production!
  10. Welcome! Enjoy your stay!

Those "beaches" are sort of mangrovey and sort of muddy rather than sandy! And no waves, Think mosquito breeding ground!
  13. You can get one new for around $80 from repco part# rox207, However it needs some rewiring/soldering to get the original plug on!
  14. Like the other guy said...yes simple as that! Buy a dump and a cat and a cat back and you are away

Basically almost anything with in 15km of the city is good! Im a bit reluctant to say certain suburbs are bad in case I offend people from there but most of the dodgy ones begin after around 1/2 an hours drive (Normal driving) from the city and are more likely to be on the south and west sides Where I live, Yeronga, there are many large houses like you talk about and you could get one quite easliy for 400K, 350k being average for a 3 bedroom on a decent block and it is only 6 kns from the city which is 10 minutes by train for me.

  18. Happy Birthday!!!!!....just think cheaper insurence is only 2 years away!
  19. Ok I cant comment on the response, As it was compared to a 2540 not a 2530, (And it was alot more responsive than the 2540at 4000rpm it was up by 44%)but I have dyno graps that show the GTRS Makes only 10kw @ the wheels less than a 2540 wich would but it quite in front of the 2530 in the topend stakes. The only reason I suggested the GTRS is because this guy seemed interestend in having some more power up high than usual other wise I agree that the 2530 seems unbeatable for mid rage response. Also in my first post I should have ball park boost response with the 2530 not the same that was me typing with out getting my meaning across clearly. Is it fair to say that for this range of turbos the GTRS does the best job of melding decent response good mid range and good top end???
  20. I WANT NUTKICK!!!!! That was the best smiley ever
  21. Thats what I was thinking, That sounds more like 2540 territory and probably even too high for that!
  22. Ok Nengun has several kits quite cheap. Id look at the HKS - GT-RS for the lower part of your range and the HKS - GT2835 Pro S for the higher part...as for fitters well I am from Brisbane so im no help there sorry
  23. www.nengun.com is geat for turbo kits, If you tell us where you are located it will make it easier to give you advice on fitters! Also there is a fair difference in what is required for 250kw compared to 350kw Can you narrow the range down a bit ie would you rather the high side or the low side of the range you stated??
  24. Ok no worries
  25. Unbeleivable....I saw the V8 coming but RWD???
