  1. Yea thats right. The numbers are limited to keep the quality of the day high. So if you don't book in and pay then you will probably not get a spot. Plus I have way too much financial exposure to run the day like that. Paul
  2. Any clues on what is coming next ? Is it a new EVO, or possibly are you saving for a 2007 GTR ?
  3. I'm sorry dangerous_daveo I just got so excited about all the bargains I had just bought I had to share with the group. I suppose I should have held back and organised some group buys as well.
  4. Not sure where the seafood one is, but I just had supreame for dinner.
  5. Hey Guys, Check out the parts on this web site !! www.kalecoauto.com Paul
  6. Sounds great, can't wait to see it on the track
  7. Yep, sure was. And it never stopped coming out.... Think I'm still full this morning.
  8. There is space, I booked for 20. Please come !!
  9. The records are on the first post of this thread back at the top of page 1. That web site is still not done. My web guy was cruising until his wife had a baby, seems to have put the Time Attack site on the back burner. Paul
  10. I have edited the first post with the start and finish times of the sessions. Also I have added the lap results from June 6 in the Sticky thread. A few upsets there !! Paul
  11. The Next one is July 4, running as two half days. Morning session and Afternoon session. Full details in a thread in the normal section. I have updated the lap record list based on the June 6 results. A few upsets there !! Paul
  12. Just remember the age old saying " $10 helmet for a $10 head ". Make sure you get something decent. I got mine for a good price at Marooka Yamaha, they had a good range (few years back now). Also here are the pictures from Tuesdays event !! http://www.timeattack.com.au/images/20060606/ Paul
  13. Also clothes need to be non-flammable. 100% Cotton etc.
  14. Come on guys, get behind these events. They are a great night out !!
  15. Yea man, track day is on all the big dates. Last one was 6/6/06, now Independance day. Apparently the Christmas day booking is still free, anyone keen, lol.
  16. We have guys like Maccattack and EVOCam who put in great lap times. I'm sure these guys and our other gun drivers would be happy to talk about what lines to take etc during the day.
  17. Great news, I just spoke to Elio's and they can fit us in and we will get the $15 a head deal. Only thing is we start at 6:30pm. So now you guys have to get booked in so we can have a great night !! Paul
  18. I made some changes to the timing equipment and it appears to have worked perfectly on June 6 (touch wood). So I will put the times for that day up shortly and we should be back in the game with accurate timing. The next mission will be to get a set of regular volunteers to run the timing equipment so they become experts at it. As you know if you volunteer for half an event you drive the other half for free. Paul
  19. Hi Guys, The next Track Day is on July 4th. I am running two half days as follows: 8:30 to 12:30 Morning Session: $110 1:00 to 5:00 Afternoon Session: $110 8:30 to 5:00 Full Day $180 You must arrive early as there is now full scrutineering of vehicles. All details in my emails. I am going to have 4 groups of 10 cars this time to keep the track time maximised. If you want to join the track day group PM me your email address and I will send you out all the info, rules etc. For those who have come to the last few events you will be excited (I was anyway) that the timing gear worked perfectly on June 6. It seems (touch wood) that the gremlins have been sorted out. Paul
  20. I have spoken to the owner of Elio's this morning. He thinks the resturant may be already booked out for Sunday. He is getting back to me later today. The public holiday has made Sunday popular. Paul
  21. I will check with Paul about the booking. If we do the pizza thing, everyone will have to do it. Also add another to my count. Me + 4 now. Paul
  22. I have never had the $28 feast, I have an all you can eat pizza deal going for the track day thing. The menu is more restricted being: Garlic breads, then all you can eat pizza, followed by a coffee for $15 a head. Both the pizza and pasta at Elio's is fantastic. I'm happy to go with whatever everyone else wants to do. Paul
  23. I can organise one of my all you can eat pizza deals if you like ? Insomniac, did you come to a track day pizza night, or a different event your referring to ?
  24. I'm in for sure. Put me down for Me + 3. Paul
  25. Will see how tired I am after track day Tomorrow morning. When is the latest to post up a booking ?
