My understanding is driver training, track days, bike days etc. Just road vehicles and limited hours for noise rules.

They have been doing track days there recently. They are seriously going to let it be used again I think. No real racing, just for street cars doing track days and training.

You will probably find the list works itself out by the time we get close to the date anyway.

The council has been calling expressions of interest for Lakeside. Stay tuned !!

Hey Guys, Sorry I didn't respond earlier to this thread, I have been flat out. I can put the times up but the beams played up again (yea I am over it as well). We did get some clues as to what is going wrong so hopefully at June 6 we will have a good shot at getting it sorted once and for all. Paul

I am pretty sure you are right with having to remove the back seats and having the car engineered then re-registered as a two seater. Just call up a compliance engineer, they are easy to talk too and usually have other stuff you haven't even thought about.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. That was our first full track day and the volunteers did a fantastic job of running it. I will have the times sorted out soon and I'll send them out. I had a great day as I tested out some new gadgets I'm working on and all went well. Should also have a new timing system running in the coming track days. Bet thats music to Pat's ears. lol. Also my own car is finally getting sorted out. We finally got to the bottom of the engine cut outs, so I should be out cruising with you guys again in a month or so. Its been too long. Paul

The count down is on. I've been sorting out the lists, having another play with the timing gear and making sure everything is in place. I was worried yesterday wuth the weather, but it looks set to be a geat day. lol on the zip ties and wire. You never know what you will need.

Hi All, My mate has an R32 GTR (but no computer to post this question) with the following problem: When the car is cruising at about 3000RPM and warmed up, the Engine will cut out and the 4WD light comes on simultaneously. The only way to recover is to push the accelerator to floor to get engine running again. If anyone has any ideas please post them up. We want to get this thing running again for Tuesdays Track Day !! I have the R32 GTR OEM Manual and it says: Kerb Weight: 1530kg I was thinking of buying a set of corner scales for use at track day and having a small fee for use to help pay for them. Anyone think this is a good idea ? Paul
