Spotted four stupid twats in an Excel with a bonnet scoop on my way home from Strathalbyn this arvo. They were up my ass doing 110k/m then got fed up with that and thought it would be a good idea to over take on a blind corner, being a 4 cylinder it took them about 30 seconds to over take and ended up almost colliding with another car. I gave them the international sign for wanker out the window to which they gave me the finger. I seriously hope for everone elses sake that they wrap themselves around a tree before they kill someone with their stupid antics

Hehe, I'm a member of that group Andrew... in all seriousness though, you are right. You've busted a nut to get where you are today, nothing has been handed to you and you are doing well for yourself (deservedly so) but it still seems as if because of all this hard work you are being penalised so to speak by the government for actually having a work ethic and getting off your ass to better your lot in life. While I haven't gone to uni for 3 years (I did do one full year) I dropped out and did 4 years of trade school and have been very lucky to have an awesome boss who has entrusted his legacy (business) upon me. Sure, that part came easy to me, but I work 6, often 7 day weeks, 10-12 hour days (between work and setting up for other jobs) Only problem is, it all seems in vain, sure I have nice toys, good prospects but it really hurts when you see a great portion of your money pissed away in taxes. I have lots to say on this matter, too much to post here and I don't really feel like going into it and boring those who don't want to listen. Those who agree with me know how I feel and why I feel it...

Well I just called up Famous Insurance to get a quote, spoke to a good bloke, however he told me that since my car is twin turbo, I need to wait to be 25 or older till they can insure me. Apparently single turbo is fine however. Is the right guys? Seems like a silly rule to me

Nah, should be pretty much the same! Old man ever rebuilt a motor before or you going in blind? Be careful and make sure you do some research before you start. A mate of mine did his 25 himself having never rebuilt a motor before and did a great job on it!

I'd be interested in the PDF, could you link me to that? Why you keen on removing the motor yourself? Save costs on rebuild?
