  1. I stand corrected Rok, apologies
  2. Good point Mike, brings into question that there is a NEED for a proper modification scheme in regards to vehicles
  3. Not once has it been stated that Neil/SAPOL is being invited on cruises, that's not what this is about
  4. If this were to go ahead Bed, I'd like to put you forward as a person to tag along to the meeting
  5. Tim and Ryan, definatly agree with what you are both saying, drive an illegally modified car, face the consequences. But as I stated above when this situation first arose, many people on this forum wanted the chance to talk to SAPOL about a wide variety of things, not to be exempt from the road rules but to get some answer to their questions and have their voice and opinions heard. The chance is now here and seems like no one wants their say or their voice heard which is fine by me also but confusing at the same time
  6. Great to hear he's finally taken the time to reply. Here is your chance SAU, a face to face meeting with SAPOL to voice concerns, raise questions and hopefully change opinions (for both SAU and SAPOL) I personally think it would be silly to dismiss this opportunity. Atleast if anything we can say we tried and I myself am quite intrigued as to what SAPOL have to say to us. Any bullshit in this thread will be deleted. I have no time for moaning or bickering, especially when we want to look like MATURE enthusiasts. Any valid opinions or question, please feel free to post
  7. That you can STILL be defected for Adrian!
  8. The actions/words of one should not fall upon an entire community. Whilst I agree it's par for the course, ie. illegal modifications come with defect, someone needs to swallow their pride and leave what's done in the past. He's made his point, let it go and move on
  9. Wow! Just great... getting quite sick of hearing this blokes name attached to Skyline defects. Just a question Scott... what were you doing at the time? Behaving normally like every other road user I take it? "Random" inspection I take it? Such complete and utter cock
  10. Thread clean up... keep it civil children!
  11. True, just try to learn from mistakes, that way it's not all for nothing
  12. They can be an expensive habit when things go wrong but don't let it get ya down mate!
  13. What you going to do then Mitch? Get a motor out of a half cut or full rebuild?
  14. Who was it Craig?
  15. Might help getting a job first... It may work out better just to save up for a standard 25 or 26, chuck it in there and sell it till you get yourself sorted buddy
  16. Boostworx Mitch, you should know that by now
  17. Mitch you didn't mention the rattling sounds.... never a good sign, often sign of bearing failure
  18. Yeah Mitch sounds like a head gasket, I'd put money on it.
  19. Key fob = alarm control... they won't bother looking up the specs, they aren't that anal... yet
  20. Rebuild time?
  21. Yeah, I honestly think hi-flow or not, they will ping you regardless. I've seen a hi-flow and standard turbo off in my hands and I can definately tell what's what. As Steve said, not going into details but they are there. It's not only the labour, it's the cost of the new cartridge and wheels also
  22. What happened Matty?
  23. Every time I've gone through, I just give them the key, no key fob for the alarm. Simple solution, they can't find what they can't see
