As for the plates, most people think they mean "He's Low" or "He's Slow" But that's not the case, long story short, in High School, a good friend lived with his grandma; she was Russian. When she answered the phone, she didn't say "Hello" but due to her accent said "Heslo" We used it all the way through year 8 till even now and when I signed up here, just picked that as my user name. I spose it could tie up the IDE channel and hence slow down your PC (ie both the hard drive and DVD ROM fighting for control of the IDE channel) Dunno if it's your problem but it does make sense
