I'm looking at picking up a set of Poncams for my RB25 and have come to a bit of a problem. I've got the choice of either Type A or Type B poncams but I don't know which one to go for. Can anyone offer me insight into the benefits/disadvantages of both and which would be a better choice?
Howie, I know for a fact someone on here has the font because I have an SAU sticker done in it. I believe someone in the NSW chapter might be able to help, I'll see if I can hunt something down
Awesome work buddy, you've done the hard yards in this group buy and done it well!!!
As for the delivery, $30 seems like a great price and that's the way I'm gonna have to go since there is no distributor in my state (SA)
Me and my girlfriend did the Sydney to Adelaide trip in a day. Was a nice drive too, took it in shifts, one drove, one slept. Stopped for a couple drinks/meals on the way as well. As long as you are sensible about it, it's good
That would have been awesome! My girlfriend was only saying this the other day that we should get a group and drive interstate. I'd definitely be up for it, even if it's just a small group, possibly Christmas time
Nah bud, I know that she's had the previous two but I had a look to buy this car from her in oh, early May, after my first baby was written off.
I like the sound of MILF 33
She's still selling it eh? Hasn't gotten rid of it yet? It is definitely a nice car and a wicked color to boot! I take it she's having time off from the cafe as I haven't seen her there in a while
Well, there's no better place to start then is there? Read the tutorials on SAU, ask questions and then go for it! Trust me it's not that hard and it is a very rewarding experience knowing that you have done it yourself. Hell, I'll even help you out if you are located in Adelaide
Man that sucks ass, but really, not meaning to hassle your mate but what was he thinking with no alarm/immobiliser LET ALONE no insurance?!?! When these threads come up all I can think is that if you are able to afford the car, you are able to afford the insurance costs that comes with it.
Let this be a lesson to your friend and hopefully not too much of an expensive one
Well I posted in this thread before but the site seems to be acting funky...
I just did mine, most of which I performed myself. I changed all oils including gearbox, engine and diff. Also changed the spark plugs and replaced both oil and fuel filters. As for the rest like timing belts and water pumps I left the mechanics to do. It ended up costing me I think about $400 so I saved a bit of money doing it myself and learnt a bit in the long run.
