  1. Just got my new car so I'm a Skyline owner again! PM me please!!!
  2. I'd be up for it once I get my new car, depending on when the insurance company gets off their ass and pays me
  3. I'd love to go but still waiting for the insurance payout after the accident that totalled my ride Then I can go out and buy a new baby so I can join you guys on the next cruise
  4. White is my colour buddy, what's it had done to it, has it got a sunroof and how much you asking?
  5. I'll get some pics up soon, only took them on my phone (1.3MP) but you will get the idea
  6. Yep, definately a short, happened to my girlfriend in her Ford Laser. Definately get that checked sooner than later
  7. yoshiE, yes please if you could that would be great
  8. That's what happened to me vange, definately will learn from that mistake, haven't lost 5k but still a bit. If you manage to see that S2, can you get the number down for me mate? Cheers
  9. crowsss, yes they have offered me to buy the wreck back for $4000, the engine is untouched and fine if you are interested... Biggest damage is the side of the car
  10. Sure, if you're willing to sell for $20000, I'm there
  11. Thanks for the support guys! vange, I'll take a look at that dealer, see if they have anything of interest, do you happen to know the price?. I've considered upgrading to a 34 but I'll probably stick with an S2 33. I've always said to myself the only 34 I'd get would be a GTR As for how the accident happened, LONG complicated story to explain on the forum in text but basically, some ass came into my lane in the hills, sent me out of control and kept going... My car was exactly like yours but a series 1 and had a sunroof, was a great little car, miss it VERY much. For insurance I went with Just Car and they insured me for $18500 so I get a bit of money back but I'd rather have my car and no hassle of buying another. All these stories of passing through from interstate inspections is sounding better and better. I'd say the only things I'd have to remove are the PFC hand controller and boost controller, the rest should be cool
  12. Oh guys that's great news, I was worried about the whole regency thing, but it is registered so hopefully I'll be alright. I'm still looking around here in Adelaide for one but if I can't find one then I'll seriously consider interstate
  13. Yeah I'm fine, save for a little bit of a sore back. Definately thank god for insurance, if I didn't have it... well lets say I wouldn't be too happy! Those Skylines are built like brick shithouses though, coming out of an accident like I did with basically no injuries definately says something for Japanese engineering Was looking at something like this, I know it's in Sydney but I could always fly down (or up - symantics ), what you guys think? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...3entry2131073
  14. Yeah, kind of a kick in the face after all the care I've put into taking care of her. She was a great car, the first Skyline I owned but definately not the last!
  15. Just sent you a PM buddy with a few questions
  16. Hey guys, was involved in an accident last Monday, some tool went into my lane driving in the hills, I swirved and lost control (roads were wet + VERY tight space) and hence just found out today my car is being totalled We can't find the other driver, either he didn't see me crash (likely due to the amount of trees obsuring his view) or he just plain didn't bother to stop, so the excess is left to be paid by me; how nice! Anyway, now I'm looking for a new car, definately gonna be a Skyline again, probably a S2 R33 but I gotta find the right one, prefferably with a sun roof. Anyone looking to sell me their baby nice and cheap?
  17. Definately in for it, PM me with details
  18. Yeah, he did the install, very happy with his work so thanks for the recommendation! I'll give him a call to see if he can help me with this too, if not, I'm sure he'll know someone to go to
  19. Cheers bud, just so I get a rough idea, thats all, might even help out some others here thinking of doing the same
  20. Excellent, thanks Andrew. Is this the same guy that you recommended to do the alarm install? If so, thankyou for that, he's a great guy and did some good work!
  21. Hah, was gonna say that's a Prelude too, my mates got one, poor bastard
  22. Hey guys, battery light just recently came on and it seems that my alternator is overcharging, about 15.5-15.7v, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a good auto-electrician that they have used before and is reliable. Preferrably in the northern suburbs but distance really isn't an issue... Cheers
  23. Sorry to butt in here, but could you possibly take some pics of your progress so I can see how to go about doing this as I suspect I might have the same problem. Thanks
  24. Haha, nice one 4door Quite typical of them, isn't it?
  25. My parents bought me my first car, a lowly Daihatsu Applause, did the job however as I learnt manual on it and got my confidence, then a traded up to what I have now and haven't looked back! Still have the Applause in the family however; the girlfriend has it. I think if I were to have kids, I'd be the same way
