  1. Motul 8100 here, just changed mine today acutally
  2. Should do the trick mate, got the same problem here. Just haven't gotten around to fixing the problem
  3. Just installed my lock bar today. Went without a hitch and thanks to the guide, saved me a fair bit of screwing around. Thanks!
  4. Honestly if you do this and drive on the road I hope you get caught and your car taken off you. Not only does it look ridiculous but it is dangerous and once again gives Skyline owners a bad name (ie. Illegal modifications) If you are gonna do this shit, save it for the track, DON'T drive around day to day with this cos you are going to get caught. Oh, and one last thing, if you are referencing that horrid movie Riced And Ridiculous for modifying your car, I suggest you find other sources of inspiration
  5. It's quite sad how we as a group of enthusiasts are targeted. I understand that some Skyline owners drive like nuts, but that can also be said for Holden drivers and I can guarantee you that there are more in the Holden category than the Skyline. It really pisses me off when I read something like this, coming from someone high up in power makes the general public listen and automatically beleive that we are all hoons and paint us with the same brush.
  6. Madaz, you implying something there or just being sarcastic?
  7. Hehe bixby, bit slow are we? So are these guys shut down for good or what?
  8. I'd personally get rid of it myself but then again I'm not an experienced engine rebuilder. But think about it, that oil, which is a significant ammount, has a fair bit of shit in it, do you really want to keep that in the system?
  9. Honestly in my opinion, HICAS is shit, get a lock bar and get rid of it. It causes more trouble than its worth
  10. 7yphon, I came across this and was going to follow it after confirmation of my problem, beleive it come be some use to you... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...0entry2082203
  11. If you fellas can't work out the workshop name, you're a bit slow I think red is the key
  12. I would have made sure to get all his contact details then and there and definately would have been more hard on him. What he did was both careless and stupid, I beleive he should have to pay somehow, especially if there is damage to your car
  13. As MANG said, head unit is gone. Would be willing to split the speakers but would rather sell all. Make me an offer and I'll consider it
  14. Woah, that's heavy shit! I went to these people and got my clutch replaced a couple of months back, all was fine. Went for a cruise on the weekend and my clutch seemed to slip, albeit only once and hasn't happened since. I decided I'd take the car back anyways for them to have a look at it and lo and behold they were closed and I wondered what happened. Guess I know now!
  15. R33 Stealth, DEFINATELY not a belt sound... MaTBoY, funny you should say that, I was gonna put in my original post that I've already ruled out the missus as a possible source Abo Bob, I bled the brakes maybe 5-6 weeks ago
  16. It seems to happen when I'm driving along, at times it will be silent then out of nowhere it comes again. My brake pads have lots of meat left, so I doubt it's them, though I can't be 100% certain. Guess I should just jack the sucker up and try eh? I'm guessing most likely it's the wheel bearing but without lifting up the car I can't know for certain
  17. Hey guys, just recently I've developed this high pitched whining sound that seems to be coming from either the front or rear wheel on the drivers side. Anyone got any ideas as to what this could be or any way I could diagnose it?
  18. Could this be what my problem is? I keep getting a high pitched whining sound that comes and goes which is coming from what seems to be my rear drivers side wheel. Would following this replacement guide fix my problem?
  19. Any rough prices that I should be looking at just so I know I'm not getting ripped
  20. Cost me $130 for the HICAS lock, did it myself, no special tools and VERY straight forward; even a guide here on SAU. Need to get a wheel alignment still however for the rear wheels but that's no biggie
  21. Hey guys, got a sneaking suspicion that my gearbox is needing a rebuild, any places you guys recommend for me to go to get this done? What's a good price for the job and would you guys recommend anything while it's being rebuilt?
  22. Yep, seend that one too... was VERY nice
  23. Guys, let me just say, easiest thing to do is get a lock bar and get rid of HICAS. Honestly, it's just a pain in the ass. I got sick of screwing around with my car trying to solve the problem so I ordered a lock bar and couldn't be happier!
  24. Yep, I'll be there, should be good fun, nice cause too
  25. Saw a 33 today on Cross Road, looked quite nice. Also was followed by a Stagea on Cross Road, probably bout 4;15 ish
