Yep, I go with what vange says. Despite what others have said above, I beleive driving a manual is NOT overrrated and is actually a lot more of an enjoyable experience than an auto.

Just performed this today on my 33; went well, didn't take me too long. Was definately dirty inside, nice and clean now. All that's left for me is to do the idle reset but I'll do that tomorrow... Thanks for the guide

Just was looking on Greenline, can't seem to find the ENDLESS kit but came across this one (the first one listed) http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/btlist2....n&subtype=Other It's called ESSENTIAL HICAS Breaker and listed for ¥10,210. Will this do the job to lock out HICAS for me on my 33?

Alternator belt? Had the same thing when I took off my alternator to replace it. When I put it back in and started the car, it was screeching and making a hell of a lot of sound. Just tightened it up more and it went away. This would probably have NOTHING to do with the aircon however, perhaps check all the belts, see if they are loose?

I did so, still pops up about 10 mins after the car has been running

When you say the result was as my first post, are you referring to the "sluggishness" while accelerating? If so, where is the PS pump located so I can get to the little sucker to try to fix this problem

Yep, just found it, hopefully this fixes my problem. I can't see how HICAS failing can make my car feel "sluggish" when first accelerating however

Seems to be no change, anyone got a guide how to totally remove HICAS on an R33? I've been meaning to do something about removing it but always said I wouldn't until HICAS started playing up, looks like now is the time...

Will do then report back but that was the first thing I checked and it did seem fine

Hey guys, got a strange problem and got no idea what it is... Got my alarm installed today, standard job, 3pt immobiliser, such and such. I drove it back home, then later on, turned the car on and went for a drive. First thing I noticed is the car felt for lack of a better word "sluggish" or heavy and when accelerating felt as if something was holding it back. After a couple of minutes the HICAS light activated and I thought "oh oh" As it's never come on before I have no idea what's up and thought some of you guys might have an idea or some reccomendations. Could the installer perhaps caused this to happen or is it just a coincidence? Cheers
