The cruise is starting north to allow enough driving time to arrive at the destination for breakfast. You can't please everyone. Next time there will be an alternate meet. For this cruises purposes however, north meet point is needed

30mm is a lot in an engine bay for clearance issues. Then think that everything like exhaust dumps etc need to be re-fabricated to suit the taller block height. It's all one big task
