  1. Saw the funniest thing coming down the Port River Express way this arvo, one of those "Police now targeting" signs. However someone saw fit to mask over it with paper and write "Silver Skylines"
  2. How much Lukey? You've got me itching now They look like the 35GTR ones
  3. My mate
  4. Reuben has had to drop out. Spot is up for grabs and goes to Andz, check your PM mate
  5. So so so so so tempted. Luke just called me. I have a bit of time to make a decision. Leave it with me, I'll sort it out
  6. Very unlikely, first thing they check
  7. Much more up my alley! YGPM
  8. Received and sent back... you are a tease
  9. Will do Dale Check the first post for it and I'll keep it updated
  10. I use these. I love them /thread
  11. I will give you 7 hugs
  12. You gonna pay?
  13. So so keen. When do you need to know by and when do you need the cash?
  14. If the front wheel is screeching and not turning in properly, I'm not sure what it is other than understeer. Not once did I comment you didn't know how to drive, and I didn't say you were speeding; you could be doing the speed limit on the road but given the use of the space saver you aren't driving to the speed relative to the conditions (ie. piss weak tire)
  15. Not a bad idea Dale... not sure how many people we can get in though. I have an in car lap timer with the unit that sits trackside to record each lap. Was going to use that on the day and lend it out to others but if there's interest in this, it's a good option
  16. This is called understeer. Smaller width tire + taking corners at speed = fail
  17. Well done guys!
  18. Nice one Matty
  19. Seen that before Andrew, quite disgraceful isn't it? It saddens me to see what a mockery he's made of his election promises
  20. Cheers guys! semislickR32, running standard calipers, slotted rotors DS2500 pads and Motul RBF 660 fluid. Will be looking into a brake upgrade soon though... hrd-hr30, thanks for the advice, I'll take a look into the RE55s
  21. Not sure what's going on there Dennis. Mine was smooth as from day one, not a problem and never has been. Come drive mine and see for yourself
  22. Muchly agree
  23. Far from it, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Then again, I wouldn't be buying a GTR with a budget in mind. Can't skimp on these cars sadly, when you do, they cost you assloads more in the long run i purchased mine and haven't spent a cent on repairs, only on modifying with go-fast bits and servicing (which shouldn't be counted anyway as it's a necessity with any car) Just be picky from the get go, expect the best, and get the best. But yes, a premium must be paid. That being said, I searched 6 months for my car, looking at about 50 plus cars, then found mine, a low KM, freshly imported series 3, for $30k. Which, for 2 years ago, was damned cheap and is still priced reasonably these days. Just be patient, good things come to those who wait
  24. Cheers for the replies guys... As for alignment settings, I've set the car up to match the numbers given by SydneyKid in his Whiteline group buy. I'm running Toyo R888's front and rear also. I fitted front and rear swaybars to the car this week and took it for a little drive in the hills. It definitely feels a lot 'sharper' in turn in and I think was a good investment. As for what I want to improve, there's no 'bad' areas really, I just want to maximise what I can get out of the car by messing around with the suspension. Just like there's nothing wrong with a car at 280kw but pushing for 300 if you know what I mean. As for the driver training. I've now participated in 4 John Bowe training days so while I'm not Schumacher, I'm a fairly competent driver and understand lines and apexes and the effects of not taking them correctly
  25. If he wants perfect, he will need to increase his budget substantially... EDIT: Beaten by Dohmar
